I love how he takes off in a bravura ragtime manner a 'la Pete Wendling at 1:13, although the pretty fill-ins and hesitations with the modern chords are all Gershwin.
You used to hear piano playing like that in certain sections of New Orleans that were virtually unchanged in style from the late 1910s up to the 1940s but after Katerina, I don't knwo what is left!
I knew that! just saying i can play 'so am I' as a piano roll its hard enough but not as hard as any other of the piano rolls in the book 'gershwin plays gershwin selection from the piano rolls'but hey! im only 13 years old but it was gr8 learning.

Has anyone tried playing Artis Wodehouse's transcription of this? Gershwin's performance seems so effortless, but there is actually quite a lot going on at once, especially in the left hand!
