Where do people make this stuff up from. I'm full immersed in IHOP-KC and have been for many years. I have a full time carrier, spend holidays with my Methodist family members and do outreach to places like Haiti and the inner city in both practical help and evangelic outreaches. No one is ever encouraged, let alone forced to cut ties with the outside world or family members.

The 24/7 prayer movement is lovely, but I think we have to be careful not to miss something. The Lord said to go out and preach and make disciples of all nations - not hide in our churches away from the world. I've been to IHOP, and it's a great place. But I don't think it's where anyone should spend 100% of their time. We're called to take Jesus to the world.

I understand your statement, however, this issue has been addressed many times. In fact, at One Thing 2009 IHOP announced 24 hours of Justice. Check out all of the areas of 24 justice that IHOP is undertaking. On the other hand I argue that way too many churches do not instruct and cultivate deep Christian lifestyle or knowledge, and then those emaciated Christians go out into the world and do more harm then good.

IHOP acknowledges that eastern religions practice turning inward on yourself in meditation because you are your own god, BUT IHOP does not practice this. I have been there. I didn't hear any falsehood in his teaching. The worship Of The Eternal One filled the room and Shkinah glory was so thick you could literally see it. I experienced God in a tangible way. Nothing anyone says can take that from me.

Hamon teaches us not to discern the spirits where prophecy is concerned. It is an End Time attempt to get us stupid and softened up so when the real False Prophet comes to usher in the Anti Christ, we will not know how to discern using the Bible who is a false prophet . He tries to make a new category of the Rhema word distinct from the Logos word -- when the Rhema is only of God when it substantiates and is in line with the written word!
