I feel like Whedon takes personal pleasure in jerking the Bander fans around. Every time we get close where we finally feel like it could happen he yanks it away.And now season 9 looks like we are going to get a rehashing of Spike/Buffy again. Really? Cause Buffy Angel together again in season 8 was so original. So naturally she moves on to another undead cold piece of flesh. What ever Whedon.
I didn't realise they also did motion comics for this! This was lovely! I've not read the comics but I've sort of kept up on storylines slightly - kinda sad that the Buffy/Xander on her side came so late...the Dawn thing seemed a bit random though? But I haven't read the comics so I can't really say! Anyway, this was great ^^
When you actually read the series, you see that Xander is kind of Dawn's only friend throughout, so it KIND of makes sense. Except I don't like Dawn much. I actually preferred Kennedy over Dawn by the end of S8, and that's saying something!
It was kind of sad but true when Xander reminds Buffy that she slept with another woman before even considering him. It's like he's at the bottom of her romantic list. Sadcakes :(
