@GREATBRITISHGAMER I didn't know they didn't but it would be because destructible terrain costs processing power that 5 year old hardware really can't spare. The consoles are really old hardware now.

But the PS3 successor and Xbox 360 successor had been announced last month so hopefully they are upgradable.

A format designed for stand alone players that is easily placed in any PC, but will never be found in an Xbox (or any other non sony console) cause they won the format wars, sony does a lot more than just consoles. Also blu-ray Is just a DVD that has tighter encoding (ie the laser that burns it has higher resolution)

my computer is ancient and it can still BURN dvd's no console can ever dream of doing that

and PC's allow for modding / greater freedom that locked consoles

and there arn't as many hackers on consoles well, on PS3 anyway because it's hard to switch disks on ps3.

@GREATBRITISHGAMER It's not as bad as majority of games on console. I have had my fair share of play time on both 360 and PC, and I saw more cheaters and hackers on Xbox. The one time I saw a hacker on PC (BF3), the guy would throw down an ammo crate, and it would kill the whole other team. As soon as that happened, (luckily an admin was present) he was permabanned. Console banning doesn't happen as easily since it has to go through the game service's company, not the server.
