@maroela2 everybody farts and burps etc.i dont have to go to middle earth to know that. it should be prosaic and literary art in film but it will probably have absurd inconsistencies and leave the viewer feeling betrayed. at least that is how i feel about LotR
According to The Hobbit, the first leg, before the Trolls, the May had been as sunny as it can be, but when they got to the wild lands, where they had never heard of the king, the weather turned foul, and, well, you'll find out out what they had to do in the end, if they'll ever get to it!
The lengths that these people go to, to make these films as authentic as they can be, is mind-blowing! Especially in this day and age where movies of that caliber are often 100% motion captured CGI.
It's a true testimony to the inspiring power of JRR Tolkien's work and Sir Peter Jackson's vision.
Those bickering why diodn;t they include this fromt he book.BLAH BLAH.
Guess what.Just like you can;t condense Assasins creed into a full faithful movie which is easliy 48 hours of gameplay, you can;t condense a 1000 pages plus book.IMAGINE an incredibly faithful dragonballz.1 hr into the movie GOKU IS still fucking powering UP!>
@king190000 Obviously because the time period and place is roughly based in Medieval Europe. That's a stupid thing to ask, it's like asking "Why are there no Mexicans in a Japanese movie during the samurai time period?"
@king190000 Yeah really! Why isn't Bilbo black? And Gandalf should've been an Asian! They could make Elrond look Middle Eastern! Thank god Smaug is a red dragon though!
LOL at you politically correct types who want to see all races and creeds included in every movie and TV show.
@king190000 despite what everyone else is saying, Middle Earth was Tolkien's mythological vision of prehistoric England. Basically, a period in English history before time began or was recorded.
I wish I could live there lol. They should make the interior of the houses as well with real old wood and all that stuff working gas lights and all.. Then put them up for sale so I can sell my soul to live in one.
Genuinely can't wait for this film to come out! I can't thank them enough for re-living my childhood, of watching the Lord of the Rings, and aspiring to live in Hobbiton.
Mmmm... I was so disappointed when I saw The lord of the rings that it actually upset me, I know, no film follows the novel it's based on (time constrates and money, what have you), but for me I thought (and still do) that Mr Jackson lost it. Don't get me wrong, I think it was a cinematic marvel and the effects where stunning, but as a representation of Tolkiens wonderful story (the script/characters) I found it sadly wanting, I just cant watch it. I hope I don't feel the same about the Hobbit.
@natrelacoustix Possibly because the books were so massive its impossible to include everything into the film when you think about it the films are just a snippet of entertainment compared the size of the books, I still find the trilogy amazing though it smashes Harry potter and twilight out of the park
You guys are doing a great job! I can't tell you how happy it makes me that you built Hobbiton for real this time, and that it'll be staying there. I may just have to overcome my fear of flying to see it and feel the character of the place for myself!!
I need vlog 6! He said very early in the new year. It's past very early. I can't wait any longer!

I think the first part of the movie will end after the dwarves escaped from the wood-elves using the barrels @ 0:08 before they went back to Dale.

@iorixs There will be alot of farting and burping I think because of the dwarfes, they are that way.

@iorixs I think as this is going to be two films, they have enough time to put in all the farting and burping they want as well as the poetry.
