  • They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • there is a responsible way to do anything, even steroids. Do you know what can hapen if you take any ultra high doses of any vitamin or mineral? you could die. Do you know what could happen if you drink way too much water in one siting? you could drowned. And comparing the casualties of bodybuilding to the death rates of poor diet and a sedintary lifestyle etc. etc. Bodybuilding has by comparison an ALMOST no risk. Shit, texting while driving kills more people per year than friggin bodybuilding!

  • change for to a becuz

  • steroids take some years off your life expectancy but who wants to live to 90 anyway. get shredded or die mirin

  • Big outside, dead inside.

To thing there's a whole industry encouraging these bodybuilders to destroy themselves.

  • now all i wana see is yourdaddy's comments

  • RESPECT ... I LOVE BODYBUILDING, I LOVE BODYBUILDERS! THE BEST SPORT EVER

  • We all gonna DIE MOTHA FUCKAAS!!!!!! So FUCK IT

  • video is only 4 minutes long, if steroids really did the damage of killing, this video would be hours long. many bodybuilders continue to thrive in spite of the accusations of steroids danger. The sky is not falling, chicken little.

  • Wow... That's scary ..... (not a hater)

  • Music details??

  • Demayo died from heroin overdose, not for BB !

  • Thinning the heard

  • they didn't die for bodybuilding but because of bodybuilding

  • @julliekoning Do soldiers die just because of war or do they die fighting for their country?...its not as easy to say as that bro

  • Even if they died cuz of using steroids, they lived wonderfull perfect life, a rether live 30 years my own awesome life that 60 years like a nolifer without enyone remember you...

  • Many of you may not want to hear it... but steroids, when used right, are generally safe...what was the medically accepted reason for these men's death? 30 year old dudes die every day for VARIOUS reasons! Plus, it is a large strain on a person's heart to supply blood to a 5'9" man who weighs 240 lbs...whether it's fat OR muscle!!

  • @officerdepfife That's right. Steroids on their own can be safe if medically monitored and administered by doctors. Some of the guys in the video may have damaged themselves with overloads of hormones but other drugs as well. Munzer seems to have destroyed his organs with his extreme drug regime. Ben Aziza's death seems to have been excess diuretics, Demayo was heroin overdose, Whitsett had a lifelong heart condition, Mentzer died of a heart complication and Klein heart and kidney failure.

  • Paul Demayo did not die from bodybuidling ; he died from a heroin overdose.

  • don youngblood has absolutely no ab definition

  • these are some ugly motherfuckers.

  • @zombiehoof Dude , have some fucking respect. What is wrong with people. i bet you are a teenage living with mommy and daddy . if not I really feel sorry for you.

  • за душу берёт :(

  • great video. some of the best BB of all times! Demayo was a BEAST!

  • they died because of bodybuilding

  • @diiv2k8 If they died because of bodybuilding, why isn't the body count higher? A lot of people are doing bodybuilding, men and women, but only a handful have died. What sport kills the most participants? Rock fishing! There is inherent risk in every sport. Until athletes have their drug use scientifically monitored so that a proper scientific conclusion can be reached as to the effects of those drugs we are just opining, that is, just making opinions. Bodybuilding is very otherwise healthy.

  • @nephos100 I'm not disagreeing with anything you're saying, I'm simply stating that they did in fact die because of BB. Drugs, steroids, whatever, when you strip all that away, the source that will remain is bodybuidling - something that I love and cherish, but I don't forget the men who have died because of it.

  • @diiv2k8 I know what you are saying. It is hard to separate the substance use from the sport now. The competitors want the edge, the public want to see freakish size and at the professional level a good living can be earned. Bodybuilding will never return to what it was in pre drug times. What I hope for is that the medical attention and monitoring stays on par with the science and consumption of performance enhancing substances, whether they are anabolic, diuretic or whatever.

  • @nephos100

there was no bodybuilding in "pre drug times" drugs have always been a part of bodybuilding--testosterone was synthesized in the early 30s and readily available by the 40s and 50s. drugs have always been a part of the sport and i don't see that ever changing, because without drugs, there would be no bodybuilding as we know it.

  • @ibtarnine Point taken. I wasn't sure of the exact history, but it does seem as if testosterone synthesis and bodybuilding have grown up together. I agree that bodybuilding as we know it would not exist without synthetic hormones. And the evolution in more effective drug use such as GH is evident in the mass achieved by the current competitors. The 'advancement' of bodybuilding is occurring with synthesised hormone science.

  • Sick cunts! Not one of them looks as good as Arnold in his prime

  • I cant speak on the other but Momo passed away from diuretics not steroids.

  • I have no moral stance against the use of steroids and other substances used in sports generally. There are many pressures to use performance enhancing drugs because of the high degree of competition. My concern is for the damage to one's health that may occur as outlined in this video. I use testosterone and have it monitored for optimum health. I have blocked yourdaddy20192. For all others who receive his useless correspondence I recommend you do the same. Have a great day.

  • what is the name of this music?

  • Why did they die? was is it because of the sport?

This reminds me of the kiwi bird, he too died to make a reality out of his dream.

    :'(

  • They died for us.

  • in memoriam

  • Why, would anybody, in their right mind, post this ?

We are ALL dying, it's just a matter of when. To embarass a DEAD PERSON, IS WRONG !!

    Please you MORON, show respect.

    Kinky C

  • They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • @steroidsR4losers I couldn't have said it better. Thank you for saying it so succinctly.

  • they died for bodybuilding, and bodybuilding died with them

  • @UBIincorporated Very well said. What's the use of building up muscles when at the same time their organs are falling apart? Look into the Parillo Program by John Parillo. He has devised a system to fully max out your potential, with training, stretching and diet programs that are totally comprehensive. My younger brother started it when he was 94 kg (he was 60 kg when he started training 4 years previously). In three weeks he gained 6 kg. It does work.

  • @nephos100 exactly my friend,exactly

  • They didn't die for bodybuilding at all. They died for the effects of the chemicals that they brought into bodybuilding with them. Bodybuilding was around long before the use of artificial hormones started being used, as were all sports. Some may argue that the sport of bodybuilding is now inseparable from artificial hormone use, except for officially declared natural bodybuilding competitions, but it is an illegal and medically risky choice that they are not forced to make.

  • @nephos100

They died so a motherfuckers like you could rest at home and watch this video, you stupid ignorant fuck.

It don't matter if they took something that caused their death... what matters is that they died for something they loved doing... even if some of them knew where they would end up.

  • @ProteinDesign I don't know how to start responding to your 'reply'. I can't fathom the depth of your stupidity. It is you who are the ignorant fuck. I will try to explain anyway: They didn't willingly die or even want to die. Dying for a noble cause is understandable, but to induce such ill health for what could otherwise be a healthy pursuit, well, I'm sure they didn't plan on that. Look up Andrea Munzer's autopsy results. The state of his liver at time of death was horrendous. Ignorant fuck.

  • @nephos100 does it fucking matter how they died? What are you going to walk around and grab every ones dicks now? Are you going to walk around and tell people how to live their lives? How about you shut the fuck up and mind your business bitch.

  • @yourdaddy20192 Dear very unintelligent psychopath, I know your pathetic little game. You are just itching for attention. Your absolutely mindless and meaningless comments are purely for trying to get a reaction. I've looked at your channel page and seen comments by people you are harrassing. It won't work with me. Go frighten yourself by looking in the mirror. Oh, and have a good day.

  • @nephos100 still crying bitch?

  • @nephos100 enjoy the video faggot.

  • non vale la pena morire per i muscoli!

  • Big muscles and little balls! hahhahahaah

  • @gjbanson i hope your mother die... raped by dogs with downsindrome

  • Its true - they all die for heart attacks. A few escape like Arnold etc, but they didn't juice as hard back then as they do now.

  • Straight men ,die doing what they like to do ALWAYS and we don't care about the rest , this is the way we are

  • Its human nature to push the envelope. Don't believe me? I just watched a video of a guy skydiving without a parachute. He was caught and harnessed in midair by another jumper. Is this smart? Who are we to judge? He wanted to be the first, the best, the craziest. So did these guys. Did that cloud their judgement...possibly. Just because they went over the edge of extreme does not make them stupid. They died chasing their dream. For that, I salute them.

  • Any thoughts on Zyzz Shavershian? Not so famous but he's a crazy guy. Reports states he o'erdosed

  • @brownjack32 zyzz is not a bodybuilder

  • @sundayxx he is look wikipedia

  • @thewinna123789 he never won anything, he just wanted to become a bodybuilder to impress girls

  • @thewinna123789 youre not a bodybuilder until you step on stage.

  • This is a sickness like an eating disorder. They make no money in body building unless you are the best. I can see in the NFL making 20 million a year. This guys roid up to pose on stage in tights. Go ahead and die at 30 who cares. This is not a sport either. I have been lifting for 25 years for football and health. Roids kill, they tax your liver and pancreas and eventually yeah you will die, broke and not famous.

  • @rommel714 You don'T understand what bodybuilding? Bodybuilders don't enter in this sports to be millionnaire or to be famous.. It's a passion, a lifestyle it's their dream... After 25 years of lifting it would be a good thing to understand that..

  • steroids didn't kill any of them! they either died from diretics, drugs, or alcohol.

  • @SOFFREAKY Exactly!

  • truly motivational.

  • I agree with @dethra2, this video is a little misleading. Is it a tribute to their careers, or a "Don't do Steroids" add? Because if it is attributing their deaths to steroids, it is a little off. Only one was for potential Steroids use (Andreas Munzer). Don Youngblood and Mohamed Ben Aziza are questionable. However, the rest weren't due to steroids.

  • Demayo died of Heroin overdose, not steroids or Bodybuilding.

Munzer died from Diuretic abuse...or whatever other drugs to flush out all of his water and proper electrolytes. Not steroids or Bodybuilding.

I am on gear right now...and feel better than i have in years. Fact

  • @SirMicDre Nice What cycle are you running?

  • well the title is misleading, they didn't die for bodybuilding.

  • @dethra2 They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • @steroidsR4losers My Goodness 3 years and you're still doing this?

If I had a time machine I will personally go back in time and abort you the moment you were conceived. Seriously your mother is retarded for having you

  • @cfhfhbg

They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • wheres zyzz?

  • Would just say that steroid use has a higher track record for health problems and/or fatalities...live your dreams but don't change them into nitemares if YOU can help it.

  • When body building is fascinated, it is very foolish that offers all of lives to it.

But, as long as happiness is felt for the upsurge of sentiment, it will not escape from these.

  • Comment removed

  • I love Mike Mentzer. He was the innovator for muscle shock training.

  • live fast die young be a beautiful corpse

  • no to steriods

  • I am a power lifter, however I can appreciate the sacrifice and dedication it takes to partake in bodybuilding at the competitive level. I just find it amusing that every "pro" steroid post that I have read on here looks as if it were written by illiterate hicks. If you want to stress a point on a topic that continuously harbors negative press, than I highly recommend spell check or a decent Webster's dictionary so you won't "appear" to be as incredibly uninformed as you are.

  • SHOW SOME RESPECT? FOR WHAT YOU STUPID ASSHOLE. RESPECT FOR A DRUG FREEK, A NSCISSISTIC FOOL YOU FUCKING MORON!!

  • Steroids just aren't worth the risk! Yeah they make you bigger, stronger etc, but it's all false! And unless your prepared to constantly maintain the uptake, don't waste your money and health! There are so many other ways than steroids, you just have to take the time and put the effort in to realise that.

  • @ProteinDesign ....only a stupid fuck would attempt to justify steroid use. You're pretty much admitting that you believe in taking short-cuts and cheating to get ahead in life, how PATHETIC....ps. I'm not a fat ass, just somebody who doesn't want to destroy their body with deadly chemicals.

  • lmao at bodybuilding being a "sport". lifting weights is a means to improve athletic ability. it is not a sport in itself. a sport is direct athletic competition within specified objective rules, with which both sides can effect the performance and outcome of the other. Going on stage and posing does not allow for people effecting the performance of others. without that variable, its merely a subjectively judged competition. like cheerleading or figure skating.

  • @desecrator1000 its a sport as those involved are in direct competition with others to win a competition. Figure skating is also a sport. Otherwise why is it in the winter olympics? You dont like body building and thats your choice. I often wonder why people jump on videos concerning a subject they hate?

  • its sad, cause they had great physiques when i was starting out in my teens

  • At 0:26 there is Derrick Whitsett, born 1968 died 2004 and was 38 years old?

  • Yes very moving but why did they die? There is very little evidence that Steroids cause premature death to anything like this extreme if at all!?! Some of these people were only 30ish! You can't say they gave their life to body building if they got run over by a truck. Without telling us the cause of death this video is meaningless.

  • THESE SORRY ASS FREEKS DIED MOSTLY FROM AIDS. THEY ARE DEAD QUEERS A BUNCH OF DEAD LOOSERS!!!!DEAD PUZZEWITS

  • @gymman62 Show some respect...

  • Well if steroids kill then why the fuck is Arnold Scwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbo greatest bodybuilders of all time still ALIVE! Franco is 70 years old now! Everyone talking shit about steroids go fuck yourself! You have been proven wrong! You can kill yourself if you dont know how to use car properly same applies to steroids and anything else!

  • @kibetsu youre an idiot!!!! just like steroids4loosers

  • @airbaumann1 Obviously you didnt even bother to read my comment since you compared me to that guy but never mind retards are retards...

  • @kibetsu please don't compare the Deca / Dianobol stacks from the golden years 40 years ago to that of the pros today (GH /IGF1/ Clennys etc) and use it as justification. There are many old time bodybuilders who have had serious health issues as a consequence, do some research you will be shocked.

  • didn't they die from deuretics? at least sudden deaths are the true cause. ben zazziz for sure.

  • before anyone makes any claims to the cause of their deaths, know the facts. Lookup each name and learn about the true cause of their deaths. Not saying steroids are good for you but educate yourselves before making any statements

  • These dudes take steriods but they also take alot of other drugs to help them shred too.

  • They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • Epic fails.

  • rip cancered people

  • rip cancered people

  • They didn't die from lifting weights.

    Stay natural buddy!

  • Respect for all these guys who died for their sport!

  • @MW2VideosCenter No respect fro DRUGGIES.

  • Steroids and professional bodybuilder go hand in hand .If bodybuilding doesn't have steroids it's like soccer without a ball :D you can get big natural ,but not as big as if you do with steroids ,keep it real!

  • All of you ignorant fucks out there, who talk shit about steroirds... lemmi tell u something.

Whether you are taking steroids or not, life's hard as it is! You can die by a sudden heart attack even if you are the healthiest person alive! Get over it.

These men died for their sport... the sport the love. You should respect that.

Nobody convinces you in to trying out some steroids... go ahead, live with yourself you stupid fat ass youtube warriors, that's the only thing you can do internet fight

  • @ProteinDesign haha, this retard is mad

  • @ProteinDesign You are one beautiful human being! <3 I wish everyone was like you!

  • @ProteinDesign i like that tell them i hear d same shit in d gym or he on juice and d same retard after ah while ask me ;Hey man can i get some shit from yuh " hell no

  • @ProteinDesign

Sport does not kill, never !!

    ... steroids does

  • paul demAyo died from herion od

  • Arnold had like 3 bypasses

  • if they die for BB then they're doing it wrong...

  • NO! My uncle, Derrick Whitsett (2:51), did NOT die from steriod use. He was robbed, and died from a blood clot to his brain from where the robbers kicked him. He bled in the brain for over a month and had no symptoms until he walked into the ICU with a massive headache. He passed away on January 25, 2004 and will forever remain in our hearts. My uncle was not a steriod user. He started lifting weights at the age of 16 instead of running the streets and living a fast life. Thank you!

  • @dacialulu sorry for you loss

but to believe that he did not use steroids is a little dumb, the steroids probably shortened his life a litte.

  • One must understand that they didn't die for nothing, they died for their passion towards this sport.

  • BODYBUILDING=CHAMPIONS!

    REAL LIFE=LOSERS!

  • they died from doin what they loved same as the people who go out on crab or fishing boats. you doin what you love and supporting your family. sad that life was short i remember momo and munzer passing didn't know demayo had passed.

  • No respect for DRUG users.

    Stay natural buddy!
