Let me ask you a question. I'm a new convert to Islam from Christianity and I hear many of you accusing the Muslim of worshiping "Allah" as a pagan God of the Kaabah or the God of the Rock. Dear Brother, why don't your present your proof by giving me resources showing that word "Allah" was used in Arabic before Mohammad to address one Creator GOD. Al Ilah is word for God in Arabic. Mohmad's father was Abd-llah. Mohammad introduced Allah as the name of ONE God and removed idol worship from Arabs. So Ka'aba, once worship center of pagan gods, became worship place of Allah.

The people and culture where Mohammad's father grew up was polytheistic and so Abdullah might have been considered and understood as servant of a God (masculine, may be Moon God?) even if it might have monothistic origin.
And I request you to be careful when you pass al hakeem and the healer in one sentence to create an impression that both means the same. Al Hakim means the WISE and not the healer. Allah NEVER claimed that he is a healer and Mohammad never healed anyone.

Second, some how you forgot influence of St Paul whom Muslims call father of Christianity because he deified Jesus. Third, manuscripts of scriptures before and after AD 300 match.

I believe there was already a movement or cult of some sort and as some suggest that was around before the first council of nicea. I believe since paul could not keep percecuting and killing christians physically, he decided to kill them spiritually. Where does jesus ever say that there was a replacement for Judas or where does jesus ever testify of paul..besides the vision paul claims he saw jesus.

Brother, when you try to use the Bible in your support, it shows your lack full understanding of it. The Bible teaches us to fear GOD like we fear our father. We fear because we respect and love our father and not because we are afraid of punishment.

Let me ask you a question. I'm a new convert to Islam from Christianity and I hear many of you accusing the Muslim of worshiping "Allah" as a pagan God of the Kaabah or the God of the Rock. I even heard the preacher say that in the church. As I was investigating the fundamentals of the messages of all the prophets, I realized that they all were teaching the same thing and that (Allah in arabic or Allohim) or (Eloah in Hebrew or Elohim) or (Eliah in Aramiac) is one and only and it was emphasized every where in the O.T, N.T, and the LAST TESTAMENT (holy Quran). Dear Brother, why don't your present your proof by giving me resources showing that word "Allah" was used in Arabic before Mohammad to address one Creator GOD. Al Ilah is word for God in Arabic. Mohmad's father was Abd-llah. Mohammad introduced Allah as the name of ONE God and removed idol worship from Arabs. So Ka'aba, once worship center of pagan gods, became worship place of Allah.

Al Ilah means God (masculine) in Arabic. So Abullah means servant of God (masculine).
The people and culture where Mohammad's father grew up was polytheistic and so Abdullah might have been considered and understood as servant of a God (masculine, may be Moon God?) even if it might have monothistic origin.

I doubt that... Original cannot be changed because it would be local only. Christianity had spread out of Constantine's empire by then. Second, some how you forgot influence of St Paul whom Muslims call father of Christianity because he deified Jesus. St Paul reached to Roman and nonJews and thus scripture became free from the custody of Jews. Christians were lead by different people and were not under one "caliphat". Third, manuscripts of scriptures before and after AD 300 match.

@truthofjesus4all A SINNER MUST STOP commiting a sin immediatly after asking god for forgivness. What do you think that god will forgive you if you keep commiting the same sin over and over. YOU as a christian believe that god died for your sins ....does it matter to you if you stop a certain sin or if you continue. I dont believe you care if you stop or not ....because you actually believe that god came to earth incarnated as a human and committed a grave sin by suicide to erase sin.

Brother, when you try to use the Bible in your support, it shows your lack full understanding of it. The Bible teaches us to fear GOD like we fear our father. We fear because we respect and love our father and not because we are afraid of punishment.
Muslims are afraid of Allah in literal sense while Christians fear God as in obeying HIM with respect and honour and love.
God loves even the evil ones and can save them. Can Allah do such? Does allah need good works to forgive?

@IslamLearning Jesus did claim to be God when He told the Jews, "before Abraham was born, I Am." The Jews understood Jesus and tried to stone Him for blasphemy (John 8:58,59). The Jews understood that "I Am" is the name God used when He first revealed himself to Moses in the burning bush (Exodus 3:14). Even though He faced death by stoning, Jesus never denied being God. Jesus accepted the worship of His followers and never corrected them but blessed them for their faith in Him.

Dear Brother, I tell Muslims that "I am a Muslim, too." Muslim simply means submitter to God. By this definition even a hindu is also a Muslim because he submits to his God. By definition we all are Muslims. This eliminates effectively superiority complex of Mohamadians as we also claim we are Muslims.
Question comes, who is true Muslim? That leads to discussion about TRUE GOD who can save and give eternal life. John 10.28 I (Jesus) give them eternal life.

Abraham was the father of the Hebrews, Israelites, Jews, Ishmaelites, Edomites, Midianites + others. I am well aware that Abraham couldn't have been a Christian as Jesus wasn't born until many hundreds of years later. Anyone who reads God's Word can work that out with ease. Hey mate, I was just wandering, would you mind telling me your conversion story? I would just like to hear what brought you to embrace Islam. I mean, it's not everyday that happens in America after all. There are those who leave churches for different reasons, for me, I am not excited about playing the game of Christianity, but encountering the living God. That is the reason we exist, intimacy with Him. I don't think the answer is a religion but a person, Jesus.

Thanks for your response. I do get mad some times and I admit that I accused Christianity false to be a pagan religion because of the Idea of having 3 gods in 1 and using the word "trinity" . The reason that me and 10 other of my friends converted to Islam at the same time is that the coming of the illiterate prophet Mohammad (pbuh) is all over the O.T and the N.T and this fact we can't deny it anymore. IT is the true that Allah is revealing to mankind everyday and we can't ignore it any more.
