In the US legal system, courts can and are supposed to rule on the constitutionality of legislation. Say what you will about gay marriage, nobody cares. The law broke the constitution, the court struck it down for it, QUIT YOUR WHINING!

By the way, this new court decision only gives more people the opportunity to have a stronger family. It in NO way does anything to hurt heterosexual families. Gay marriage won't affect how straight parents raise their children, etc.
