Look at 2:26 and in the whole movie about a minute later . Look familiar? I always thought it was weird that it is in the same spot as 9/11. A few minutes before they say "terrorists, 911, we are at war and Saddam Husein." Anybody else think this is just coincidence?

Not really due to Earth's magnetic field. The Earth deflects radiation from the sun on a daily basis. So I'm sure it could repel the radiation from a nuke that size. But I do think that a nuke that size would have completely destroyed the space shuttle used for the mission.
