I believe you can play and download it for free these days. But if you have problems I believe I could dig out the original I played under windows 95. I can’t remember without looking who in those days used to host it.
Anybody know where to find a certain version of the multiplayer demo? I remember playing it on my Win98 Machine:
If I recall it was simply called Fighter Ace multiplayer demo. It was a single map that had had four landing strips, one chinese, russian, american and UK. You could choose a plane and fly around a bit You can land and shoot at a cabin and each base that can explode. And the map is infinite, so if you keep flying, you'll eventually find the collection of landing strips.

Id take a bomber, go 15 000 ft alt, Then bomb the crap out of the main bases or the most populated airfield, Timed fuse bombs would take out the airplanes as well.
lmao, I would taunt them the whole time I was over the airfield, Theyd be so mad theyd send a few fighters to get me, Then I switched to high speed dive and manned my rear or belly guns, Often made it home.
@PatTheRiot I did that in a way although I got really low while being chased by an Me-190 and dropped my bombs, (i was in a b-17), and just as the plane flew by the bombs ignited and blew it out of the sky!
@Indirathedog Nah I played about a year ago and there was alot of Japs and Ger :) Their bombers sucked tho, Especially the german ones who always had to be nosed up on heavy loads.

consoles today are good enough to hold all the memory of this game. I like playing sims in console, with just a basic easy to control and i cant find any flight shooting simulation like this that is good enoughf. Ace combat 5 6 and 7 is cool but its all missiles and shit, theres not even a challenge and fun shooting down a plane like this one.
