What many people don't know is that Rakim was only 19 when he relased this song. A living legend. He nd Grand Master Melle Mel are my best two rappers ever.
it's been a long time....man a few years ago when i played this at a club a dude comes up to me thinking the line was stolen from timbaland.....i'm a peaceloving person but i had to bite my knuckles not to smack him down !!!.......RAKIM IS RAP ROYALTY !!...
@Bro365 All the samples for The original "I Know You Got Soul" are on Wikipedia, I'm almost certain it's one of those. So just search the samples on YouTube and I'm sure you'll find it. Or even better use Whosampled? (dot) com
To help you out, if that high pitch noise is part of the same sample then it was also in Public Enemy's "Rebel Without A Pause"
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
ugh all the makes of this song suck except the one that they play while Junior is breakdancing. fuck and i cant find that version anywhere except there, and it isnt the full song. all these shitty remixes are horrible. what is this beat? its so bad... sigh.
Man this is the remix from the single, done by Double Trouble. It's just like how Coldcut did to "Paid In Full (7 Minutes of Madness - Coldcut Remix)".
This is the official version and it was the one used for the music video, just shorten to 2:31 min., just like how the "Paid In Full" one was shorten to about 3 min. for it's music video
Oh and the main sample is I Want You Back by Jackson 5
There is a download link if you'd like. This is the version they used for the music video. Similar to Paid In Full video they used a sample heavy remix for it
old story. this particular disease doesn't have the fx that it seems 2 have on MJs skin. he came up with this xplanation after like 10 years of being white. normally there r only body parts losing the pigments the rest of the body remains black. anyway, enuff others run round like theyre white though theyre black since many creams&soaps can b purchased since 100 yrs maybe. also the disease wouldve worked hand in hand with his surgery. hed still b black though if he stopped it but he never will.
i even purchased the damn soap myself one time an additional xtra to a hair cream. i would have accidently used it but i felt a little strange standing under the shower, so i checked the package again, and it said it was meant to get rid of pigment spots.
trust me for God that these things are available all over the world, at least in areas where there are blacks. i've seen a lot of people using them, especially africans although it has become unfashionable since a few years. if they use cheap products you can mostly tell. the colour doesn't change permanently though, you have to constantly use it. the melanin or what it is gets blocked. the sister of a friend of mine used it as he told me when I asked bcause of their differing skin colours.

I've never heard of something that can change the colour of your skin, never and I truly don't think there is (unless it's a tattoo)
