  • Great job i love this song and i just learn it by watching :D

  • @greendaysuperhits

    Cool... thanks!

  • @greendaysuperhits all Ramones songs are easy 3 cords. but the best 3 cord put together in my life and earths life time.

  • its johnny ?!!!

  • Where did you get that awesome guitar! ive been looking everywhere for one, how much was it?

  • @shwaykosky

I found it on the Dutch Ebay site a couple of years ago for 350 Euro. (used)

Check out the website of eastwoodguitars for dealerships.

  • zieke covers man ga zo door

  • @epicguitarbro

    Hey bedankt!

  • ohh.. good job.. exelent..... could you please tell me if you used an extra distortion

  • @christoc59

Thanks! If i remember correctly I used the "natural" overdrive setting of my Boss ME50 for this song.

  • hey i watched your covers ..beautiful :))) i would like to learn some songs from ramones...can you make lesson ? please !!!!

  • @Milankoful

Thank you! I have thought about doing lessons but that takes a lot of time. It's in the planning but I can't say exactly when it will start.

  • @woodyamsterdam ok....can you please tell me , send me a mesagge when you put some lessons ? thanks .

  • @Milankoful

    I'll do that.

  • @woodyamsterdam thanks

  • @woodyamsterdam Your covers encouraged me to play Ramones' music, some lessons would be the greatest thing in youtube.

  • @psycho21r

Thanks, that's always nice to hear. I'm walking around for a while with the idea to do a series of tutorials but the problem to find the the time to do so... But I'll work something out in the (near) future.

  • @woodyamsterdam Great cover!! Lessons would be awesome if you could find the time! Long live the Ramones!! Noah

  • you are a fucking awesome... nice very nice.. i want my dad play the guitar like that =D haha

  • @bondonde3

    lol! thanks:)

  • can you suggest me some distortion pedals for dirty sound of 60-80's bands???

  • There are a lot of choices but my favorite would still be the Ibanez Tube Screamer.

  • and what about the amp's options?use any delay or what??

  • No delay for most songs. I like a dry guitar sound and if a particular song needs reverb or a modulation effect, I can always apply it during post process. More expensive amps though have good spring reverb built in.

  • muy bien, se nota que sienten a los ramones, los vi 3 veces en vivo y no dejo de emocionarme cada ves que los escucho. FELISITACIONES

  • @leanramone

Gracias. He visto el Ramones también 3 veces.

  • where did you buy your mosrite guitar?

  • actually it's a mosrite copy from eastwood guitars and I found it (used) on an auction site.

  • hey this is great !

where can i get tabs or chords ? plz answer :)

  • Good job!

    Keep Rocking \m/

  • Thank you!

  • Hey man nice! Might I ask what pick weight you used?

  • Thanks. I use Dunlop Tortex 0.50mm.

  • I love this song, man . Great song woodymsterdam.

  • Thank you!

  • I heard Johnny used a Fender Strat for this...

  • That's very well possible. As far as I know he has used also Hamer guitars (as an endorsement).

The Mosrites were his stage guitars and what happens inside the studio stays inside the studio...;)

  • Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool...

  • Thanks!

  • Hey Not Bad, Good Going :-)

  • Thanks!

  • sweet! i love it!

  • Thank you!

  • Awesome sound !

  • Thanks!

  • I'm going to upload my acoustic cover of this music ^^

  • Cool! A great song for acoustic.

  • leipe shit ouwe 5*

  • Dank je jonge...:-)

  • If any of the remaining former members decide to reunite I nominate you to take Johnnys place.People forget that disco had taken over the airwaves.Rock was dying and then came the Ramones who brought it back to life.Just like Bill Hailey and Buddy Holly back in the fifties.KEEP ROCKIN!

  • Thanks man, really appreciate it. Real rock & roll will never die despite all the contemporary hip hop, r&b and rap-crap. (I see that we are of the same age:))

  • WOW you got a Guitar just like Johnny!! Great cover!

  • thanks!

  • that was awesome man! *****

  • thanks man!

  • you get that kickass guitar offline

  • oh dude!! i noticed a mistake in the info box! you said "The only song from the debut album that I didn't covered yet"

you added an ed in the word cover

  • Is 'covered' incorrect english'?

I meant to say the this was the only song that I hadn't done. Lost in translation probably lol!

  • yeah its supposed to say

"The only song i didnt cover yet"

    dont worry about itm:P

  • Ok, thanks for that;)

  • no prob

  • thats so good!!

  • thanks!

  • That guitar is awesome

  • Thanks! I'm very happy with it.

  • great!!!

  • Excellent

  • Thanks!

  • hey woody, are you happy with your me50? i'm thinking of getting a multieffect... does it feel too digital for you or the modeling does a good job? thanks man.

  • It has become a bit obsolete maybe during the years but I think that quite some OD settings are usable and also the modeling works OK although I hardly use it for Ramones. For Ramones I like the sound as pure as possible. After all Johnny did everything with his amp and guitar volume knob only. Separate stomp boxes will maybe sound a tad better but I like the convenience of the ME 50. The built in tuner is also great.

  • dude this is like awesome, better than mine.

  • Thanks!

  • great job.

  • Thanks man.

  • Great Guitar and T-shirt. WOW

  • Thanks man.

  • awesome job,

what are the settings on the 50w

i know i say this a lot but these are my final ramones settings

    gain-7 or 9

    bass-3

    contour-4

    trebel-6 or 7

  • For early Ramones: clean channel gain 10 bass 7 mids 5 treble 9 BossME50 'natural' OD preset drive 6 bottom 4 tone 7 level 5 Compression 2
  • ok cool, i will try the clean settings, but that is if i get my

    half stack

  • i kinda prefer this sound than the other one. but still all your covers are great

  • Thanks. Sometimes it's a real search for the right tone. But later on in their career Johnny's guitar sound became more rock-like when he switched to the new Marshall line with separate pre-amp and master volume.
