  • some sweet info here

  • vitamin b complex just makes me clumbsy, it does'nt give me energy. i stopped eating pasta, and white rice, bread, potatoes, everything white, i feel a little better, but not a 100 percent, it's probably from my past lifestyle, drinking and partying for years. i didn't believe it when people say it catches up with you, but i do now!

  • Damn.... Thats exactly what happened to me last night. I was feeling groggy all day and then when i was getting ready for bed. I suddenly woke up and feeling alert and couldnt sleep until 3 - 4am. How frustrating! And i have been feeling better when i take vitamin C and B, but i never connected the dots. I had bloodwork done on me, wich stated that i am fine. Thank you.

  • protien for adrenal health? You got that wrong sister.

  • This is more or less ayurvedic medicine. common sense of sleep before 10 p.m.,

sleep in a dark room no dim light, balanced diet, listen to relaxing sleep music on low volume with automatic shut off, do easy relaxing yoga postures on your break and meditate scanning your body. Sit still do not move one muscle for 2:00 or more minutes feeling the now decreas stress, get mini massages or use bouncing rubber bals while leaning against the wall down and up. holy men india go toward stress.

  • @sukkha911 Age of stress arguments, conflict, Kali Yuga. Also try Super Brain yoga for mental clarity every morning. See benefits of coconut oil, benefit of sesame seed oil and oral health using tablespoon of sesame seed oil swash around mouth then gargle with table spoon of salt in warm water and brush normally.

  • One should be aware that, oddly enough, regular high doses of vitamin C can cause a *lowering* of immune function and lead to frequent infections. Mad, but true! So, don't overdo it.

Re the protein issue. I did an nutrition assesment recently - as a vegetarian - and got 65g per day when I wasn't trying to eat a lot of protein and almost 100g when I was. And that was VEGAN! So, please don't believe any biased nonsense about veg diets being deficient in protein. Needs are only around 50g!

  • @elisabethle exactly , and also indigenous ppl that lived very healthy strong and over 100 in good shape, their diet was as high in protein as 35 to 50 maximum daily. The protein myth is still in the head of uninformed fixed - stubborn people. wake up already ! get out of the stupid attitude "everybody should believe what i believe" and eat half a cow daily if you are affraid of not having enogh protein-that's what meat and dairy producers wanted to do and they are succesfull for 50 years now

  • aha this is me .What can i do to make my life better.

  • lower income people should have benefits that pay for supplements, vitamins--because these are expensive-- and being poorer you have an increase in stress just in your environment--low quality housing & environment, crime, having to take bus, if you have work- then wage slave income and hours, stigmas from society, low self esteem, under informed and educate--and surrounded by others in this same situation--this is why there are so many lower income people.

  • @RedHerringKOD Forget all this and try Mickel Therapy. Look it up on-line and, if there are no therapists near you, you can do it via Skype etc. It gets rid of CFS/FMS right from the root cause. Not symptom management, but sure.=)

  • Want to Subscribe to me? ;)...I love this video- Super good stuff! Thanks for sharing...

  • She would have to be VERY ill-informed to be protein deficient as a vegetarian. There's protein in virtually everything and about the only way to get truly deficient is to either not eat enough or to live on boiled sweets!

Generally though, the video is good. My only real issue is that, it's great theory to say get to sleep by 10pm, but sleep is one thing I have NEVER been able to command. I go to bed around 8.30 most nights these days and I rarely sleep before midnight. I simply can't.

  • @elisabethle - i had the same issue - magnesium and calcium really helped. that and breathing exercises to take your mind off not getting to sleep.

  • @SovereignBeing Hmmm, I already take those 2 and I don't lay fretting about not sleeping normally, I just day-dream! Still, I'll try the deep breathing.=) Thx.

  • @elisabethle well maybe its not an issue then if you are in a meditative state you are still healing..

  • @ 1:30 - 1:49 , . . . this happens to me most of the time, but I am male! Same prognosis for me??

  • @slimdudeDJC could be many other things.. candida has the same symptoms, i would check for that, the spitting in the glass method is best, if it goes stringy or sinks you have candida overload. also your tongue being white in the morning is a sign of it, then look up a candida diet which is basically cutting out anything that contains sugar.

  • Symptoms of Rheumatism, especially fibromyalgia, and an increased blood sedimentation rate can also be signs of adrenal malfunction. Other than what the Dr. is suggesting, good nutrition and vitamins, it is also helpful to take a good dose of boswellia every day until the symptoms subside.

  • @pax80a Is it working at all?

  • I watched this video all the way through without listening to a word they said lol now i know why I didnt listen in school, because I was stoned

  • Try Iodine and Zinc.. it works for me.. amazing results :)

  • She knows that she is talking about. I have been taking Vitamin C and B Complex for the past few weeks...but Vitamin C specifically has made a MARKED difference in my mood, energy level and overall wellbeing. Try this!

  • Stress affects health. We hear so much about stress being bad for us but little about how to keep it at bay NATURALLY. I am an avid advocate of natural relaxation techniques; listening to a cd morning or evenings as a means of keeping stress at bay is a powerful tool, time to nurture you with guided visualization CD's by Jonathan Robert Banks an expert in stress relief, his Pain Relief, Recovery, Alpah, Relaxation, Breathing CD's do REDUCE Stress. google Relxationforme u-tube yourbraintraining

  • i am awake by 3.30 to 4 am in the morning, i am alive throu the day until around 4...i am asleep sometime's by 7...up to 8.30pm...i normally fall asleep in my recliner..so i have to put myself to bed..if 'm i'm not careful i will be alert so i try to walk with my eyes shut lol ....i believe i could have some adrenal issue's ...this i'm gonna check out for sure..

  • Protein needs have been exaggerated for profit. The average vegetarian gets 2 to 3 times the protein they need. That wears them out.

Plant-diets are the most natural way of eating The other primates eat mostly fruit. We do not need

the amount of protein that the meat ind/gov says we need.

  • Protein deficiency only exists in places of famine. Here the the US, the name for this deficiency is not even known.

  • Nonsense!

Go get yourself a copy of "The Vegetarian myth" by Lierre Keith and then tell me whether you can still write such a sentence with full honesty.

  • I've read everything I can about veganism (pro & con. That's why I write this with full honesty...... and knowing. And I've been a vegan for 16 years.

I've studied the writings of people sustaining (and thriving on 40 grams of protein), and I've proven it to myself by doing it myself. That's knowing.

PS - You may not believe this(and I'll be called agest), but I gotta say it: When I saw your post, I said to myself "first I'll see if this person is 18." I'm getting good at this.

    When I ..

  • You can "thumbs-down" me all you want. It doesn't change the fact. I wouldn't say such an un-common thing unless it was true.

  • @Gary1111001 primates eat mostly fruit because they are herbivores (humans are carnivores). Carnivores need to eat meat to obtain essential amino acid needed to maintain our body functions.

  • @xirons That's not true. Carnivores eat meat (AND most of the animal: organs, AND the plant-food inside) simply because they are adapted to it. But they don't need it. google: veg dog oldest.

If humans needed meat, there wouldn't be vegetarians. China wouldn't have 1 Billion people.

I eat mostly fruit because I too am a herbivore. And I do great.

  • kidney beans, black beans, lentils help way more then any vitamins i agree with sleep.

  • do men get this?

  • Yes, they can. I read an article recently that said that this is equally prevalent among men and women.

  • Yes anyone can be affected by adrenal problems.

  • Yes. Do you have known thyroid problems?

  • yes

  • Also, if you have taken a turn for the worse, maybe you have had too much caffeine. Probably none is best for us with adrenal issues. LIke many others, I have also found that Kombucha tea is a great energizer, not to mention appetite suppressant. It is pricey at health food stores - about $4. a bottle, but it's cheap and easy to make. Many wonderful testimonials about Kombucha tea on the net. I didn't like the taste at first, but was hooked and "addicted" very shortly. Love it!

  • I didn't believe it when I was told, but after a week of feeling alright, I had some coffee, and sure enough, back went out within hours. Most body pain weirdness came right back. I should have listened. Caffeine CAN take you right out. A weeks worth of time from bad to healing, reversed in a quarter of a day.

  • Yeal, that caffeine can be so tempting. But one pays for it later. What we need to do is figure out why we need it and fix what is wrong.

  • I have also found melatonin to be helpful while my adrenals are healing. Also, tincture of chamomile & valerian about an hour before bed.

  • I do melatonin and chamomile to help with sleep.

  • Yes, I use melatonin every night, thanks.

But I haven't found chamomile to be that hellpful personally.

  • This is going to sound crazy but I tried it and OMG, LET ME TELL YOU I FELT SO GREAT AND I HAVE SEVERE ACID REFLUX AND THE STRANGEST THING HAPPENED; Okay take Chamomile Tea and Sleepytime tea (depending on your bathtub size mine is a jucuzzi so I used 3 boxes) but try this buy some of these and any others you like all without caffiene ofcourse and run your bath hot and put as many tea bags as u can in and bathe in it WIERD BUT SO GREAT FOR RELAXn' AND SLEEP AND no kiddn acid gone 2?

  • thanks for the video.

  • and u listen to ur drug pushing doctor ?

    Fuck tart

  • I have adrenal weakness and have been following her advice and it has helped. Yes, doctors can be a great help. But my own favorite doctor does admit he doesn't know everything and is learning all the time. We should all be learning all the time and not close our minds to alternative health and doing our own research, taking basic charge of our own health. Why are you so upset? Are you a medical student? If so, learn alternative health also for yourself (!) and others.

  • I think drugs should be viewed as the alternative. The first choice should be giving what the body needs to heal. And prevention. :)

  • How do you know she is not a doctor?

  • Get onto wholefoods with Don Tolman . . . .

    He is on youtube

  • thank you for this information.

  • Take melatonin at night about one hour before you want to go to bed. I take 5 miligrams then and I take 5 more miligrams upon entering the bed. And I sleep. You will definately notice you are sleeping way better on melatonin. Get it at your health food store or even walmart probably.

  • @AmsterdamWitch can you crush up and snort melatonin? will it help you get to sleep faster by doing it this way?? i hear too much and your libido goes down hill somewhat. cheers

  • Thanks. I'm taking what you said to heart and will be buying those supplements. You help take away the guilt of not rushing around fast, when for now slow is better.

  • This was informative but I wish there had been mention of things like Isocort and other adrenal glandulars. They can be sooo much more effective than herbal remedies.

  • I've heard a lot of mixed info on glandulars..can you recommend a brand?

  • Iscocort is good & its over the counter on the web. It takes about a month to feel the effects. You may need more than the 8 pills a day they recommend. You might benefif from a doctor who will give you a urine test (before the Isocort) not a blood test, then maybe give you some hydrocortisone.

  • Thank you Dr. Sellman! Excellent video! I thank God for videos like this as I learn how to fix my poor health so I can get back to work, school and planning my Efficiency Potentials business. Right now just breathing and walking are a challenge. Two years ago I could walk 5 miles a day.

As a future nurse, I was also very glad to learn this educational info. Thanks again Dr. Sellman. Sincerely, Rebecca Brown

  • Very exciting information.

Thanks for the video!! I found it to be excellent--interesting, informative, and chock-full-of vital and practical steps I can take to turn-around my adrenal burn-out challenges. : )

  • Wondering how many mg of Magnesium daily is recommended for adrenal fatigue, and should it be taken in morning, throughout the day or at night?

    Thank You!
