The current GLOBAL caste system marginalizes dark-skinned or melaninated people through economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex and war. ALL races support caste ideology and implement a supporting class structure defined by COLORISM. Interestingly, Varna refers to 'skin color'.

Islam not only preaches equality amongst the people of god, you can't really be a Muslim if you believe in social and spiritual superiority. I came to this video via a link from a (pseudo)Hindu fundementalist blog (a blog by a chap called rajeev sreenivasan).

But what this man D'souza says is absolutely true. It is unadulterrated truth. Fundamentalists (e.g. the extremist RSS) are desperately trying to maintain the caste status quo, but in this modern age these atrocities are difficult to hide.

The treatment of the untouchables is the result of an ancient invasion and conquest of the people now living in what is now India by a group of Aryan people remotely related to Europeans. Every group of people who have been conquered receive harsh treatment. This social structure became institutionalized and eventually became part of the Hindu religion. The original inhabitants of what is now India were darker(Dravidian) than the invaders.

Do a study and you would learn to keep quite on this issue. It is not about revolt that Dr. D'Souza talking, it is about doing something comprehensive and solid to uplift them. It is easy to comment, better show an action that you carrry out to help the dalits.

One has to read news paper to find out the atrocities around India on Dalits! The way they are buthered, the way women are stripped off and paraded etc... are not read by so called highcaste people. Yes, there are Dalits in government offices, but then how many? About half of India is dalit, do they have equal amount of opportunities? Who controls the government?

he also forgotten the education rate of India is rising, whole country is working hard to improve any ill thing we have, but still again and again these peoples keep coming and creating division in country peoples, I got 2 friends who told us that they are dalit in college (they don't have to pay college fee and get admission in different quota) we eat lunch together. When we are making huge effort for removing such things from group-up (past many years) and improving then who is he???

Majority of Indian population doesn't even know cast at present day, Some areas this is still happening and its very wrong, its uneducated region which is where this is happening, unfortunate thing is more than 70% are under poverty. Look at them ammount of Dalits are in govt. you will be suprized half of them are. So this guy is doing nothing but creating hurdle in front of govt. who is working hard to stop such things.
