ordered one of these as i loved the look but despite being 1000 au$ more than my scott sub 20 it was nowhere as good.i ordered the bad boy solo retail $2500au with the headshock.the lockout was cheap plastic,theavid disc brakes were no where near the scotts shimano in performance and on and on.
I wanted to sell my scott and buy this but I wouldnt have even if there was no price difference.for the money the cdale was a piece
you gotta be the only person I have ever heard state that Avid Juicy brakes are crap.
no critcism mind u as I dont own a set, just an observation. My old stalwart MTB still uses v-brakes..
I have heard some folk say that Cannondale frames are superb but the componentry dont tend to be top of the line; for the price point this is quite understandable I think.
For its target market and purpose, the pricepoint and componentry I think are appropriate....and very easily upgradable!
