I knew Honda was getting into the hydrogen concept. Glad to see BMW is getting involved... getting consumers a more high-end option. Big BMW fan myself... does BMW have an idea, as to when they plan to release this?
BMW have given these cars to diplomats for their use as a free trial run for some time now. This they have done so that these diplomats can make certain policies and tax holidays and actually help in making this kind of a technology a mass produced and within the reach of the people. But its interesting to see how and when favorable policies are put in place by the concerned authorities.
currently hydrogen is taken from hydrocarbons by seperating hydrogen and realising carbon bt the real deal is to take out hydrogen from H2O, and that will be the future as it will ensure zero pollution
Well to clear ur dought its both. The message that BMW wants to deliver is that what we take from the mother nature is being returned back to it. Here its water from where Hydogen is taken and from exhaust it is water vapour coming out

haha. It doesn't tell you that in practice we still use oil or coal to make the hydrogen.
