I totally agree with Tony that this is not a beginners heli. I have just graduated up from FP to one of these and although it is very stable you must have mastered your cyclic control to get the most out of it. I absolutely love it and find it a lot of fun to fly. Its outdoor ability is far superior to my FP birds. Its handling is very crisp in comparison and gives you the confidence to manage light breezes without it getting blown away.
That's what I don't like of Xheli. You show a lot of good stuff in your videos but at the webpage everything is out of stock. So??? I was lucky to be able to buy the 9053, if I want to take it to the next level then I can't because it is out of stock. Do something!
@wapbravo A lot of the items were sold out due to the holidays and the items are being produced already and sent to us, we will get the items back in stock soon. Keep a eye out on the website for updated.
I can fly Coaxial but after seeing this I would like one but I am not sure if I am ready for this or no I had a 3.5ch coax really nothing to it, but this looks like a accident could happen fast!
@chowmonkey2002. Where can u buy a rx2446v which is the all in one for the v370d01. I couldn't find it for under 87 dollars US shipped from china. Which is outrageous considering the heli was around 120 shipped.
@helicopter. Feel free to chime in or pm or email me a resolution.
@xheli please post a reply to my questions so myself and many others can get an answer.
If anyone else out there has a similar story let hear it. The lack of parts support is unacceptable. The v370d01 in question has 2 parts In stock. A main motor and a awash. Of course they do they never break!!!! Speak up XHELI!!!
@xhelicopter. I meant to saythis is the reason I never bought a walkera heli from you. I have purchased multiple items, a charger for example, that arrived missing half the cables. A call to your cust svc straightened that out and a cable was sent. Let us know how this issue can be handled because these helis people are looking at are as good as they get in their category meaning there's nowhere to go up in the micro size so people will be hanging on to them and need parts support. Not for t
The reason I never bought a walkera before was because I was afraid of parts support and it bit me bad. I have a Trex 450v2, hk500gt, blade mcpx, and blade msr. I've needed parts for all these at one time and it's never taken longer then a week. Your walkera heli has been shelved after 3 months of flying because of a failed part you never stock. Make this right walkera.
@xhelicopter. Do you know where I can get a replacement 5 in 1 and other various parts fir my v370d01 i bought the heli 6 months ago from you. I Called your customer svc about a week ago and they said not in stock and don't know when they will be. Where can I get parts? And if I can't get parts what are all the people who buy this gonna do in a year?
I have one great little heli . I did do the brush less conv and I'm using a 300 mah battery. I get about 8 min of flight time in idle up a lot better then the two and a half with stock battery. The brush less motor and esc was about $40 well worth it. Batteries $5 each. This little bird can take one hell of a beating.. Hurry up xheli
I had a walkera 4#3 with what looks like the same batteries and they always failed after about 20-30 flights does that still happen with walkera?? In uk walkera have a bad name I've got an mcpx and really I think it's the one that's set the bar to beat
@stuhomer71 I think the only reason why the batteries are failing is because they are being ran too low. The battery that came with the sample is the newer one that is a 20c not 15c. We will see how the packs last in the long run. Walkera has really improved over the years. I have to admit a few years ago Walkera heli's was not that great...So much slop on the parts and electronics were poor. Now they are up to par with all the big guys :)
That is exactly why I have not purchased the genius yet.
I won't support a monopoly- and if WOW is out of stock your are out of luck-
What about all the dealers across the US who have sold for Walkera in the past...when the models were "not so" reliable as the genius. If it is just in limited release to WOW for beta testing that is fine...which is why I was asking if this was new firmware--see rcgroups -great reviews-EXCEPT the 6 axis is not working well for many
Great Helicopter with solid reviews- except the current version that is being sold has problems for many people in the 6 axis mode, with uncontrolled drifting. Yours did not seem to do drift, is this an improved firmware version?
Also, if Walkera made landing gear replaceable like mcpx that would be a good feature for easy repair
@aaronstomfoolery The Demo one I am using is the same as all the other ones out there. I don't believe there is a newer version yet. I found my problem with drifting was from the way it was mounted. The unit needs to be perfectly level or else the heli will drift in flight. Also slight vibrations will cause the heli to drift and not fly properly. -Tony (from Xheli)
I think the MCPX is better build quality. The walkera seams to have more power and better stability. Wonder how it does in crashes, looks like there is less durable parts than MCPX.
@Crazylogie I haev both. They both have their pro and cons. The MCPX is more stable at hovering, but the Genius wins hands down at 3D and fast forward flight :)
note: normal people give a fxxkin sxxt what the box looks like :D

@Savmanz0 Mine is durable. Weak parts are the canopy and tailblades.. Tailblades can be replaced by mcpx tailblades.
