A finished work that HE has done is not disputed.
He does tell us to EXAMINE OURSELVES whether we be in the faith, Yahshua is IN US, lest we be REPROBATE. Even that manifestation of examining oneself is a work HE accomplishes for it is a MANIFESTATION, a work of HIS, IF HE IS IN US. If one does NOT examine themselves, it proves they have not Yahshua IN THEM. The OUTWARD work in anything is proof of the INWARD POSSESSION of the Spirit of Messiah. To infer that is legalistic is a lie.
