@MrBeaner125 frusciante only helped out on cicatriz esp for this album. he does play quite a bit though on frances the mute and amputechture. if you listen you can actually tell when it's him or omar playing. frusciante's parts are more fluid and somewhat bluesy sounding, while omar's are much more spastic and frenetic. the two of them together are just fucking amazing!
@pidrgu Most likely because its considered to be the most "popular" due to the fact it was named 91 out of the best 100 guitar songs by the rolling stone magazine. Though, that would be my guess.
@gardenofskeetn not to discredit what was a funny and good comment, but rolling stone magazine sucks BALLS now. they were good in the 60s when they didnt have to pretend the mainstream was good (cuz it was) but now they're acting like the jonas brothers and 50 cent are groundbreaking genius. fuck rolling stone
@Aitsu58 i used to like psychedelics, but after a while, all of the insanity kinda gets old and takes a toll... thank God for creating the poppy flower.
I didn't really want to listen to this band, i dont really care for alternative but.. when i heard FLEA was in it I had to check it out. It was worth it.
best song ever? yeah.

I thought Frusciante (former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist) did the guitar work on this song?

I personally think a lot of people underestimate Omar Rodriguez Lopez's ability as a guitarist. Hes without a doubt one of the best right now.

If this band was a little more facetious, they'd be funny. In their current state, they're just shitty.
