she has a form of Cerebral Palsy (CP) making walking and other motor activities challenging. Also, her mental abilities are challenged by this disability- but not everyone's are it depends on the type. For example, I have ataxia CP where its mainly coordination and balance that is challenged as well as motor skills. I had difficulties with walking and other developmental milestones as an infant. My mental abilities are not though

and i have athetoid CP where i cant feed myself and i lose my ballance while walking, i cant drink out of an open cup my mom has to help me drink using a sippy cup just like Rebecca and my hands, ect. dont work right and i cant climb stairs up or down and life is the most challenging thing for me so my form of CP is just like Rebecca's

i am the same way. my body is affected but not my brain or mental capabilities. its just my legs dont do what i tell them lol. my cp is one of the mild ones but i have friends who are like rebecca. theyre often aware of whats going on, just cant communicate normally. i had a friend who i could tell what he was feeling just by his eyes even tho he couldnt talk. i like how the one little boy said rebecca took one for the team. very sweet
