I was there when it happened, and a girl from my school was one of those people who got taken into hospital. It was so horrible though! It was like a minor riot, and I was in the middle of it. Never again!

@fastaz447, yeah but i have an important announcement to make, why did they have to make the concert a free concert, whenever they advertise a free concert, you can expect half the world there.

in my opinion i think it would of been a good idea to have people pay to come in, and have at least a maximum of 300 - 350 people in attendance.

so in total fairness it's partly there fault that all this happened

for a free concert ur going to expect riots & people getting injured.

well you know what ive been front row entry in several festivals where everyone charges and runs for the front, but I have NEVER seen a crowd act like savages, never seen a man go down and people not care

They didn't even have security working, the police physically cannot control that amount of people. It's stupid, there are so so so many security companies in Birmingham that they could have used to control the crowd, it's just the Council cutting corners and costs.

Same thing happened at Croydon when they were appearing at The Fairfield Halls, I was taking pics of them arriving for the Advertiser and witnessed all the horror.....crazy.
