Jeter never was great defensively and is turning into a defensive liability for the Yankees (in the lower half of defensive shortstops in the league). He is worth nowhere near the money they are paying him, but he is the face of the franchise and so they cannot let him go. i don't see any of those guys as being overrated. mayweather i hate a lot, but that doesn't take away that he might still be the best boxer in his weight class. you could probably say that strasburg is overrated. but then again he was on the injury list for almost a full year, and that wouldn't be fair to him would it?

THEY all either received help from an all star or went to teams to play with other all stars. That's kinda how they all won championships. Just sayin

Respond to this video... "This guy is an offensive and defensive juggernaut" Okay, he's not as great offensively as people say. He's very good, but not as great as he's made out to be. He only shoots 45% career wise. Field goal percentage should be taken into consideration big time when it comes to scorer. And defensive??!?!!?!?!?!?!??! What the hell?!?!?!?!!?!?!??! Both of them have actually played dirty in their careers (Jeter faked getting hit by a pitch, A-Rod took steroids), and they can't hit anymore. I'd like to know how Jeter could possibly even reach 4000 nevermind beat Pete Rose, when he JUST beat 3000, so you kiddies are getting a little too hyped up. He's like 38, i'd say he has 4 more years left in him. And guys in their 40s NEVER get more than 100 hits in a season. Good luck!

I agree with Strasburg being overrated, he can't pitch SHIT in the Majors, only in the farming systems or whatever. Sure he had that 23 strikeout game or whatever, to bad that wasn't in the MLB! Mark Sanchez for the Jets is overrated IMO. This guy's a frikkin rookie and people act like he's got better numbers than Brett Favre! Mark sucks! Eli Manning too, he doesn't have as good numbers as other QBs but everyone frikkin praises him over and over. Plus he's just a kid, not a veteran or anything.

Maybe the height is in his genetics but he had to hit the gym to get that strong and that fast and to be able to jump that high. In the same way that Kobe does shooting drills, LeBron lifts weights. They both work to gain an advantage. What's the difference. Also, aren't all abilities hereditary? In the same way that Shaq was born tall, Kobe was born with work ethic.

Beckham definitely and pacquiao, a little. He's no sugar ray robinson or henry armstrong people. and while he is an entertaining and really good fighter to watch, he has some technical deficiencies that other greats, and even mayweather, don't have.
