Pardon me. It would have been better to say that she can't exactly do it herself without the aid of that tiger celestial god. I picture her to normally have only her original power, which is the sunrise. But that's not even the case in MvC3, so this could all be moot. ^^' Also, her ink is limited and she could end up helpless for a while.

Amaterasu and Phoenix are my best characters. I'm better with Amaterasu, as I just spam the O button where she uses her high/heavy attack as it does SO MUCH damage. But I can use some decent combos. She has any range of attacks. Her vitality is pretty high too. Phoenix is my second best. She only has 415,000 health points! That sucks! But when I summon Dark Phoenix, I own with her! And I use the X-Factor too!
