  • Aw shucks man, you should have gotten her the 5970 man. lol.

  • ur mom doesnt need all that shit - and u coulda got windows for FREE you idiot

  • @TheGinger623 Of course she doesn't need a PC like this, but I built it for her so that she can keep it for a very long time. I know I could get Windows for free, but like I said, if I build PCs for anyone else I get fresh copies of software for times reinstallation will be needed. It's different if I use the same copy for my PCs, but not others. I don't see anything idiotic about that.

  • @Wigwahm you still could have built a pc with less gaming parts for considerably less money. and it still would have lasted... i dont want to argue about this any more. put what you want in it - your mom gave you a budget and you met it so whatever. no hard feelings

  • @TheGinger623 None taken, I just wanted to justify myself since I was called an idiot, that's all.

  • @TheGinger623 how do you know what he's mom needs ? your the idiot

  • haha nice

  • i wouldnt put lights in it its for your mom remember.

  • Hey Wigwahm does my psu need to support my cpu or does it not matter what kind of cpu i get to it?

  • The power supply does not need to support your CPU. It does have to support all devices connected to it, as far as power distribution is concerned. As far as compatibility, the CPU doesn't really care.

  • @Wigwahm So it has to support gpu, mobo, and thats it isnt it??Cause i think the hdds are gonna get connected by Serial ATA 2 from my mobo.

  • Anything that requires power is included, except the monitor. The hard drive requires a power source from the power supply. Data is sent from the mobo to the HD, but the power still comes from the power supply. Other compatibilities may need to be required. Some video cards won't work with some power supplies for example.

  • @Wigwahm But do i also need to look for compatibilities at the hdds on the psu connectors??Are there other stuff that might be incompatible than the gpu and mobo?Cause i already know those stuff.

  • good build, don't mean to correct you or any thing, the blue vs. black edition hard drives the blues have 16MB of cache and the black have 32MB cache, good vid

  • Thanks for the info, I initially looked at the cache before buying this hard drive and my 1TB drive. I didn't know the color meant the difference in cache size though. Her's is 16MB, and my 1TB is 32MB.

  • great Video

  • cool, you could let your mom try out crysis with that build

  • Awesome build. Just did a budget build for my son over Xmas.

I like CoolerMaster cases too. Then I switch to Antec. Now I'm all about Lian Li. Gonna start switching out all my CoolerMasters and Antecs for Lian-Li

  • ASUS, AMD, and ATI. The way to go, it looks like a great build. looking forward to the next part to this video.

  • Mom is going to be rocking and rolling. She will be able to kill zombies and all kinds of stuff with it now LOL :-)

    Great Video.

  • 6 years!? My parts still have a 13 year old dell desktop.

  • @WZZA1610

    i still use agp

    LOL

  • Great vid thx for shoutout 5/5

  • Nice components! Maybe alittle overkill for your mother! But, Like U said, it should last a nice number of years! 5/5

  • what were the budget? :)

  • 1400 bucks altogether. Like I said in the video, 600 was for the operating systems. 800 for the rest of the stuff.

  • you buy one.......... use it as many times as you want WINDOWS CAN SUCK MY DICK

ive used my xp cd on like 40 pcs

    and vista on like 10

once it goes out of activations i hack it..... when i pay $200 for a cd i use it as much as i want

i have never ever had windows call me email me nothing

youll never get cuaght if your scared or somthing but you really were stupid with this build

fan controller is a waste, coulda just got low db fans check on newegg it says

and the gpu and psu WOW!

  • @staticxmako I add fan controller for a nice exterior looks NZXT Sentry 2..Looks nice

  • I chose to err on the side of caution and not to hack anything. Why take the chance? Besides two of the operating systems are going into my mom, and girlfriend's PCs. And, more importantly, it's not my money, lol.

If I use low db fans, I won't have the option of turning up the speed of the fans for more airflow. I want to balance airflow with silence. The fan controller was only 22 bucks, and I didn't have to buy any fans at all. I already have some.

  • i understand the hacking thing, but its perfectly fine to hack it. as long as your not a noob. and the fan controller is compeltly fucking stupid, you said you want to have them quite when needed and fast when need cooling. the problem is its your moms. she is giong to adjust them meaning to do it or accidentilly and then you get serious problems. i would never install a fan controller in a clients pc.

  • Ahhh, I see what you are saying about the fan controller. She will never get inside of this PC. That is were I put the fan controller. Just like my girlfriend's PC, and my research PC, it's on the inside. I can still change the fan speeds, but no one but myself is going to mess with it, especially my mom, lol.

As far as hacking Windows, I am a noob, lol.

  • @Wigwahm My Mom bought herself a budget computer for $600 and I build it for her

  • 600 is a good amount of money to spend on good parts, not eMachines, lol
