@igfromthe323 well if my advice is of any assistance, I would recommend save your money on a WS6 and get a base model LS1 trans am. You can buy an aftermarket hood and badge it for around 700 bucks. For an extra 8k all the ws6 has is wheels that you will probably change, suspension that you will probably change, ram air (not a huge advantage) I spent around 5k on mine, after the 10k purchase(Not a ws6), and im pushing 480+ rwhp. as opposed to an $18k window price on a stock WS6

@KingNothingLS1 When did you buy yours though? I bought my WS6 in Dec 2008 for 13000. I could've paid 9 or 10 or so for a non WS6 LS1 but nobody wants to waste their time finding the hood, paying for the better rims, and installing the hood and that suspension. You must've been wanting to buy yours on around 06.

@recniabsal bought in october of 08, right out of hs, and maybe there are people that just wanna buy it and drive it, im the type of guy id rather work on it and build it. Its like buying a white canvas and painting your own picture, or buying one that someone else has already painted.

I love this commercial! Saw it once and it got etched in my brain! The wild cat sounds were a great touch, even if this is actually a bird of prey. The burp was a little too much IMO.

Actually the panther sound makes sense if you think about it...The Camaro, back when it was about to be introduced in the 60's, was almost called the Panther, before they decided to go with the word "Camaro" instead. And since the Firebird has always been the sibling of the Camaro...

Why does it have a Panther sound? Isn't that a ford thing with the "Panther chassis?(crown Vic,grand Marq,,town car) I would expect a sound like a hawk or something..."Fire BIRD" its name isn't a cats name.Did anybody else fine that sorta funny? Its a neat commercial but there just some little things like that that are out of place:)

Nice! This vehicle was indeed one of the last and true bit of "American Muscle." With styling cues and performance figures that dated and matched to those of the 60s 'birds. Along with the WS6 tuned suspension, this was one of the best bang for the buck that GM had to offer! Matitinko sounds like the jealous type who have probably never driven a, Firebird, Trans Am, Firehawk, or the rare GMMG special the "Blackbird", let alone a real car!
