I think you are all going a little over board with the negative comments. At least these guys are trying to publicise this fantastic sport, whether it be in the rubber tire format or full-on spiked tire class.
With regard the guy not even broadsiding the bike, I'd like to see you try to properly broadside a bike on ice....certainly doesn't/can't happen in the spiked class, where they take corners in a similar fashion to track bike racing (e.g. Moto GP) by shifting their weight into the corner.
Well all you have to do is check out YouTube for REAL Ice Speedway Racing - and see how its done PROPERLY!
I've been to the Ice Speedway World Finals across Europe many times since my first visit to Eindhoven in 1983 - and never seen anything this lame in my entire life. Check it out on here and see how its done properly and then come back and admit that these guys are basically just a bunch of pussies masquerading as ice racers.
it would be pretty hard to make this track bigger since it isnt even a real track. This is a hockey rink...You want to see a big practice track, come up to Canada and check out the 5-7 mile long road racing tracks on the lake!
just wondering ... i ride junier speeedway in australia (125cc) and i was wondering if in ice speedway u need to were sliders ... u would think u wouldent but i just want to no the answer... thanks

You seriously call this 'Ice Speedway'?
Hahaha don't make me laugh! You aren't even broadsiding the fucking bike!
I think you Yanks need some tuition from the Russians - they know how to rider ice speedway properly.

Well it's speedway and it's on ice so yes it's ice speedway.
And I've never seen the Russians broadside an ice bike, not without crashing anyway.

Poor advert for ice speedway, the organisers need a trip to Europe to see how its done.

the track is too small.
if you come to sheffields track its 361 metres and the fastest speedway track in britain. thats where the racing happens.
our practice track is bigger than this mess

@simon4RUFC i wish we had an orginazation like that in the states. but you can get your buddy's and build a huge track on the lake.

With all due respect mate, Speedway isn't only about speed, it's also about balance and technical ability.
Have to agree about this track however. What a fucking insult to speedway - particularly 'ice speedway'.

in ice speedway you don't need to wear slider (ironshoe?),but for security in drivingshoes there is protections
