  • Love that piece of software but it must be a bugger to wire up.

  • What is all that white stuff, being from Tucson Arizona. I once saw it thirty something years ago! Thanks for the info from a place where I hope snow hardly ever falls!

  • I guess thats good for a home in a area that doesnt get too much snow and has barely freezing temperature.

  • some systems can run power through the panels to heat them up and melt the snow

  • was always curious how it turns out. It practically kills it. Tkx

  • this is very good info.

    thx

  • This won't work with solar shingles will it? I'd like to have solar pv shingles on my next roof but I don't have any good contractors aroudn here.

  • What is the software on your computer that measure the amount of power called and what device did you use to connect to your computer

  • I suppose you could get a ladder out and get it off of there. I work on ladders all day and could have them cleared off in 10 min.

  • great video

  • im sure you can tip it off, all you need is a long hinge and a counterweight :P

  • is there a device that can help automatically wash the snow off?

  • when its -40c i wont count on anything melting...

  • Solar Panel Deicer Ice Melt Sock pays for itself in electricity generation in a single day.

  • use flex watt heat tape 11 in, wide on the under side of panels, with a dimmer switch to control how hot it gets , it should keep panels from building up snow , it will keep it melted off, maybe .just a thought.

  • I watching this video now because it is snowing here in the UK, I only have a small solar panel but just to be sure I checked it out. good video.

  • great informative video. im glad it doesn't snow that often here in belgium =)

  • Thanks for the video... Whats the name of the song on this video?

  • Apple computer

  • trees are misleading.... but Enphase inverters help out tremendously. Go to my website and you can watch their live production. Left of my chimney is about 85% and everything to the right and below is 90+%.

  • What is your solar window in the spring-fall? looks like quite a bit of tree coverage.

Also, by placing panels so close to your chimney, how well do the two panels directly adjacent produce? they must be shut down at least partially, 20 % of your sun hours..?

either way, looks pretty and is a good application of the enphases.
