  • That'll be so awkward when New South Germany is a real country :P

  • perfect line up would be (post boyle and howard)

Hugh, Chris, Andy, David Mitchell, Stuart francis and Milton Jones

  • I guess they wouldn't imagine that someone Greek would actually watch this.

  • 2 dislikes... its good to see cameron and cleg watch the show

  • i lost it at 12:08 HAHAHAHA

  • 'Urbane foxes' sounds like a great band name

  • It'd be nice if he had actual wit instead of a pocket book of puns..

  • 22:06

I love Andy's reason for why the world must end X3

  • POTTERMORE! I'm watching this to fill the time while I brew potions on Pottermore ;) S'a good ep, ty, btw.

  • im glad theyve made chris addison a permanent panel member...well for now at least....i think he's hillarious

  • Who is the female comic? Never seen her b4. I seen almost all the shows but I dnt remember seeing her b4. She was cracking some jokes but then suddenly she went quite.

  • haha it was aired on my birthday

  • "gormless underachievers punish country" is actually quite good. and YES! POTTERMORE!

  • Is it just me, or has Andy's panel not won at all so far this Series? >.> Are they saving the win for Russell's return or something?

  • "Ooh, dubstep!"

  • Did the first "scenes we'd like to see" make anyone else think back to Frankie's classic: is it a bird is it a plane - well whatever it is it's heading straight for the World Trade Center" - it would have been so brilliant if one of them had said it in a Scottish accent

  • haha its just a hicup with some pizza in it! i love it :P

  • Am I the only one that loves Seann Walsh?

  • Female commedienne...Being funny?

Quick! We must call the authorities!

  • @PurpleFunnyChocolate here f*ck off

  • @richbitchheiress I was obviously kidding XD I'm a female myself, dude!

  • @PurpleFunnyChocolate Okay lol I was going to have a big rant at you before haha but yeah she was good

  • D'aaaaw, Dara ruining the joke was cute. XD

  • what's dara's twitter?

  • Comment removed

  • @MerelMystery it's @ daraobriain. :)

  • @Juhache00 your original argument was that the English hated one liner comedy, im just saying that clearly isn't true because Milton Jones and Jimmy Carr are both really popular, im not saying you have to like them, but they are.

  • lol, seriously the invigilators at our school do play pacman

  • Just got back from a week in hospital and laughing at this really hurt my surgery wound.

  • HAha I invigilated once and we played "Pac-man"... it was actually Tag. It gets quiet intense when you have to do it without people knowing.

  • everybody should stop being so judgemental. its realy annoying and it makes the comments boring. all comedys different we should all just appreciate it for what it is. i like most comedy stuff, i think the best film in the world is hot fuzz, but the best tv shows in my opinion are scrubs, big bang theory and outnumbered. theyre all different but all great =)

  • @e7l13 There's an interesting anthropological study somewhere in the fact that Scrubs is so much more highly regarded in Britain than it was in the States, where it was pretty much ignored (and canceled a couple of times).

  • @MacBuckets really? i think its great. its one of those shows you can watch without having to think about anything =).

p.s- i shall pretend i know what anthropolgical means =)

  • Lady is pretty funny!

  • @Juhache00 Stewart Francis uses the same comedic style as Jimmy Carr and Milton Jones - if ya hadn't noticed both of them are English and really popular - are you a moron?

  • @alittlebitmuddled I despise both Milton Jones AND Jimmy Carr's stand up. I'm not staying the American style is one liners you fucking idiot.

  • Weeeeeeeeeeee.......... Looooooooooveeeeeee yoooooooooooooou, yesssssssssssssssssssss we dooooooooooooooo.

  • Why do people have to fight over who's sophisticated and who's not funny. It's just different styles of comedy. Get over it. Yah I admit I prefer certain styles of British humour over American, but that doesn't mean you have to be a pompous ass about it. Some of the best comedians are North American. It's just there's no way in hell any British panel show could book them. That is why you get the second rate North American comedians in Britain.

  • i hope the silent rogue who sent the magazine with Pete on the cover to Dara comes forth and reveals themselves!

  • @Juhache00 Let this "non-sophisticated colonial" give you two tips. First, comics go for what they know. E.g., Addison, Parsons go politics; Frankie went Scotland and mental health, etc. If something doesn't ring true for you, it doesn't mean it's poor: being a white male English fuck doesn't make you an arbiter of good comedy, just majority comedy. Second, if we play along and allow for a high and low culture filter here, then 'unsophisticated' is a far more sophisticated word, ignorant shit.

  • I was on a job today hooking up computers after an office relocation when, during a break, I logged in and saw there was the next episode of MtW uploaded. TOTALLY made me squeal like a girl! Was quite chuffed, made the rest of the day go by that much quicker. You, my dear mrmoody, are fantabulistically awesome!!

  • Great Upheaval Plagues Clegg?

  • Yay

  • I really really don't like Stewart's type of comedy. But I did really like the new woman, I thought she was quite funny.

  • @BeautifulTerror Totally agree. So much better than gina.

  • The winning team had the three best comics, that seems unfair somehow

  • Hi, I'm sorry for this but English isn't my native language, could somebody tell me what a continuity announcer is? I understand 'continuity' and 'announcer' but together they just don't make sense to me.

  • @dompie23 The person who talks over the end credits of the programme to tell you what is coming up.

  • @TheOrangeFondler Wow in America that isn't even a widely used term thanks my question has been answered too

  • @dompie23 In the UK, on channels like BBC they have live announcers between shows that talk over the credits and say what's coming up next, etcetera. :)

  • I love Dara's 'oh shit!' at ruining Stewart's joke :)

  • She looks like James Harrison in drag. And to be honest isn't that funny. Her wheel of news bit was worth a chuckle though. I'd love to see a fight to the death between her and Greg Davies.

  • Did anyone else hear the echo at 24:25? Or have the voices just returned ?

  • @Nazzie91 I think you need to go back on the meds man hahaha I heard it too just kidding

  • Is Chris Addison becoming a permanent feature on the show now?

I'm in favour of it if he is

  • @Larkin200 yes he is

  • @Mrmoody thank you for making my day :D

  • LOL i knew someone would do parking review man.

  • People are saying Russell has left; he hasn't, conflicts in his schedule meant that he couldn't do the summer run, he'll be back in September (After MTW breaks for a few weeks so the comedians can do the Edinburgh Festival) :)

  • @Juhache00 He isn't American, he's Canadian

  • @MrThermomanPreacher He's still incredibly unfunny.

  • @Juhache00 - :O Shut your face. You honestly don't find any of his one-liners funny?

  • @Juhache00 Well if you're talking about today's comedians you have a point but you can't tell me Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby&Eddie Murphy weren't funny even Lewis Black he's hilarious look him up

  • @beamerball666 If I'm honest, I cannot think of anyone worse. Reginald D. Hunter is funny, but that's only because he's been living in the UK so long he understands how to entertain a British audience. American comedy is sub-par. Just pandering to the non-sophisticated minds of the colonials. Most of the time, Black comics focus on the fact that they are Black to create "humour" the same with female comics.

  • @Juhache00 Ah well O.K 1.)You're not getting it back

2.)Stick to you're own fucking Island

  • @Juhache00 - Your free to laugh at what you like and feel what you want but, word to the wise my friend, never tell a Canadian they are the same as an American. It's the same as saying Kiwis and Aussies are all the same or saying that the Irish, Scottish, english and welsh are all the same- meaning, the type of stuff that will get you punched in a bar.

  • @Juhache00 How racist of you.

  • @chrstphrw Racist to say I dont like Black Female comedians? Brilliant.

  • @Juhache00 To be honest, yes, I think it is a bit racist to say "One minute in I spy one of my least favourite comedians, black woman", without having heard her say a single word. If you listen to her material - such as Andi Osho's constant monologuing about being Nigerian - and then legitimately decide you don't like her act, fair enough. But the wording of that comment came across as more than a little racist.

  • @chrstphrw Cry me a fucking river. It's fucktards like you that have diluted the meaning of racism to pointless squabbling between white people whether we've offended um-bongo with a bone through his nose by offering him a slice of fucking watermelon. I don't like one liner comedians but I'm not going to grab a pitchfork and go round their houses, hang them from a tree and throw stones at their fucking corpse.

  • @Juhache00 I'm guessing you've long suspected that people aren't pleased when you communicate your thoughts. Allow me to confirm that. A brown shirt might attract your kind of audience.

  • @niclasjt Right, so I'm now a member of the SA because I don't enjoy Black comedy? Oh logic!

  • @Juhache00 - You realize this comment has pissed me off so much that I'm tempted to block you for this? 1st. Why is "Um-Bongo" the first example you went for, even though that is an unrealistic image for the modern-age? 2ed perhaps watermelon, or receiving an offering of food from guests, is offensive in "Um-Bongo's" culture. Why our your cultural norms the only one that matter? and finally, why would it be acceptable for you to offend "Um-Bongo" but not Darren from up the street?

  • @Juhache00 Awww are you one of those Europeans that hates American's? B.T.W I know it's been covered but he's Canadian

  • @beamerball666 - Don't fight with him, he can like what he likes and think what he wants. I'm just sad for him because his determination to hate American and Canadian comedies stops him from enjoy genuinely funny shows like Psych, Big Bang Theory and Corner Gas.

  • @Mrmoody Ah you like Psych I'm never home to watch it but I here it's pretty good just the fact he referred to us as Colonials annoys me that ship has been sunk for what 228 years being when the British troops left?

  • God dammit, I want to hear what Stewart was going to say!

  • is chris addison a regular now?

  • @habbo3hampster I hope not. kinda getting bored of him......

  • @syiannakis I used to agree, but Addison is getting better imho.

  • Finally, a funny women on the show. Well done Ava!

  • <3

  • Aaah, best one yet this series. Really made my day. But i can't tell whether it made Friday or Saturday, since at some point it switched over. Mr Moody, you continue to be amazing.

  • I'm logging on Twitter to follow Dara :P

  • Pacman lol =)

  • I couldn't contain myself when the continuity announcer said stuff in the credit after what we just heard!

  • ...female comedians...

  • @comtraya101 This one makes me grind my teeth...and I'm female. The only good one they've had on there is Lucy Porter in my opinion.

  • Thanks MrMoody, I really needed a few laughs today.

  • russsssssseeeeeeelllllllll

  • Ava's 17-year-old daughter is Mrs. Moody!

  • "Angst Productions"? WTF? (Angst = German for fear)

  • @blenderpanzi Angst has more meanings in German, than fear. One of them reflects the English meaning. (also, it seems it came to English, from Danish and not German)

English and German are closely related languages.

It's not strange to find words that are spelt the same.

Sometimes with the same meaning, sometimes with slightly different one and occasionally with a meaning that has changed beyond recognition.

(and sometimes words that seem similar, but aren't related)

  • @ZarlanTheGreen Ok, so "Angst" is used differently in English. However, I'm from Austria so my native language is German. And I'm pretty sure that I only know *one* meaning of that word, and that is the same as "fear" (as long as I correctly understood the meaning of "fear", maybe there is the problem). What do you think are additional meanings of Angst *in German*?

  • @blenderpanzi You may be a native speaker of the language, but that doesn't mean you know every bit of it. No one, single person, does.

Go consult a German dictionary if you wish to know the answer.

If you don't have one, and don't want to bother going to a library, there are many dictionaries online.
