Just to clear up a few things, Reach was destroyed when it was attacked by the Covenant. Literally, blown up. IF there is a Halo IV comming out, Master Chief would most likley be landing on the planet Onyx where there are three surviving spartan II's trapped in a shield world or Master Chief lands on a forerunner world. I belive the Forerunners had secret worlds to protect themselves from the blast of the Halo Rings, correct?

But The Fall of Reach says that, the Chief recognizes the glyphs when the PoA is about to jump away from Reach, and Cortana says, the Chief has infact seen them before, and she says it was during the Covenant Ship Infiltration back in 2525 when Sam died over Chi Ceti, not from the ruins from Sigma Octanus.

Halo Reach is a prequel to the series and will not be using the standard Halo Engine. Instead it will be using something known as the "AAA Engine". It is said to have 10 times better graphics than Halo 3. Which is awesome!
