Rather than abolish the Federal Reserve i would rather they just nationalize it. Since it has been a criminal enterprise and illegal under the COnstitution from the beginning there is no legal problem of the Nationalization as being a taking of property. Much like the government seizes the property of other criminals.

The problem with nationalizing the federal reserve is, most of it doesn't reside in the US.

The money isn't in the US.

The Constitution, Article I, Section 8 clearly defines how we are to produce and regulate money in the US.

The existance of the Federal Reserve is a direct violation of that, even if it were nationalized.
