So happy someone's recorded this. I just learned who Courtney Love is and INSTANTLY fell in love with her.
(And funny enough, I also saw RENT for the first time a week ago and fell in love with it.)

angel in this is horrible!! cameron clayton from the auckland version is a million times better.. this guy cant act for shit. i felt no connection between the two just courtney parading round thinking the entire show is about her - this is supposed to be professional im guessing not another feral amature drag show by a silly poor who cant get real work in the field... massive FAIL!!

Why is Angel a woman? The point of the character is that Angel is a young energetic!! DRAG QUEEN!!! But this is a rather superb job.

Shane, you and Shai make a superb Angel and Tom Collins. Both Angel and he are HIV+, and Angel now has AIDS. They are in the position of having nothing to lose, but feel they have little positive to offer. Angel is strong but alone and lonely. Tom Collins is madly in love with her. Next time sing as if it's the last time you'll ever be in love, as Angel knew it was. Sing to him, not the audience. With your combined talent and more focus on the love you'll get tears along with applause
