  • Are they only for fighting?

  • Filmed during Hurricane Katrina

  • so that's what it sounds like wen u record a video n a tornado

  • God it's soooo nice to see a review on these that's not from some kid that shoots bb guns in his spare time.

  • Hey im thinking about getting these i have big hands i wear a size xl but when i get regular gloves they are too long on the fingers so what size would you recommend?

  • @Daskiller100

buy as big a size as you can, they run small IMO

  • i recently purchased the same gloves you own, only in black and i was wondering if your gloves ran i bit long in the thumbs?

  • these are ok gloves i paid $50 usd for them. it is easy to fuck them up though with rough use.

  • i had a pair of these, hated them, I had to sew the fingers up like every time I wore them! the stitching didnt last.

  • @NexGenAirsoft not the REAL oakley gloves.

  • What's the size of your hand from base of palm to tip of middle finger (in inches)?

  • @dadiddlydooda

doh, thats a great question, thanks.. that would make a gun review much more useful, we'll try to find out for next time, thanks again

  • Hey there, i just recieved my new version of these gloves in the mail today, and when i tested it with my OSOE microrig w/ velcroed closed pouches, i found that the velcro sticks to the glove material on some parts and its starting to bother me, any suggestions? thanks let me know.

  • As gloves for combat situations these are great. As a bonus, during my flight training to become a helicopter pilot I would wear one on my left hand which sits on the throttle/collective. Greatly improved my ability to keep a good hold of the plastic on hot days, plus the knuckle section is a great tool if I needed to break one of the instruments, which could happen ;)

  • Hi I'm etting one but i'm not sure what size i wear. I measured my hand its about 8'' to 8 1/2'' so should i get medium or large thx

  • I had those in Iraq and they worked well. The stitching does come apart.

  • Where in Toronto,Canada can I buy a pair of these

  • Where in Toronto, Canada can I buy a pair of these?

  • You mentioned that they are tight, so you recommend to run a size bigger then usual for these?

  • @bagelnagel20

    Yes for sure

  • You mind checking what the tag on the inside says? Mine say made in Vietnam, and I'm trying to figure out if they are replicas or authentic.

  • Mine have tags and say vietnam as well, and mine are DEFINITELY authentic.

fakes ones dont have tags at all...

  • @shyaznboy Cool, thanks.

  • they are legit. it is better than made in china.

  • @eckoman11

Yeah I bought mine at Oakley and it also says Vietnam so I guess they are authentic

  • thats awesome i want a pair and a pair of SI assault boots

  • I bought these gloves on Ebay for 50 bones, work great, I work security and I PUNCHED a guy in the face and it f*&#ed him up good lol.

    Great gloves!! highly recommended

  • awesome review ;D and awesome product

  • I love these gloves, but... the material on top of the hand is real leather... and in Iraq you sweat a lot, and the leather rotted and crumbled apart from getting wet and drying out so often.. but I had bought 2 pair, so I just switched to a new pair. ... I was also over there longer than most people, 17months straight ... So if you're just on a short rotation One pair should last just fine.

  • @ niich

    Good info, thanks

  • @niich Glad your doing okay man

  • if you're military you can get them for $40 directly from oakley Goverment sales website... They have a lot of other products at discount prices for military too...

  • @niich How do you access the goverment sales?

  • to get this to post on here I had to put spaces in the web address.., but here ya go. you have to send them a copy of your military or law enforcement I.D. and then wait for them to clear it, but you can get up to 50% off of some of the gear. ((( just get rid of all the spaces )))

secure. us standard issue .c om/Index. cfm

  • you have to go the shop and show them ur id in order to get a discount.

  • Is Oakley made in vietnam only ? Because the guy said this gloves don't make is USA only wiley X. 0_o"

  • I bought my own last month on US on-line shop and they were made in Taiwan.

  • since it's your 2nd pair, do you find that the ink runs in them, I've got hatch operators and that was the biggest thing that I hated about spend $50 + on gloves is running ink...

  • These gloves are the best set of gloves i have ever had. Are department get's the gloves for us at pro price , witch is alot cheaper. I recomend u have your supervisor check into pro rate prices.

  • not sure..I'll ask

  • nvm, i found it on the Oakley Website. thanks though

  • cool, glad you found them

  • how do these gloves fair in cold weather?

  • they are mostly webbing or thin leather, so not very good I suspect..however we are in Arizona, so we don't see much cold weather

  • I see, tyvm for the response :)

  • I'm in arizona too! I was thinking about buying some but the $80 price tag hasnt been to easy to get to yet.

  • Cool thanks ill look into the ones you mentioned

  • Their realy badass but $70? :/

  • I agree, they are expencive, but he keeps buying them..

They do seem to fit better than most of my gloves

  • are they fire proof, water proof and last atleast over a year with out any wear and tear? If so I might consiter it.

  • Nice review, bloody keen to get a pair of these for Airsoft more so as they'd probably look quite decent alongside my MultiCam gear. (At least the Khaki/Coyote Tan version.)

  • lighter color than multicam, but they are not as bright as white or something
