SNAKES! is one of the strangest films I've ever seen. One of the most obscure of the many late 2006 City Dweller genre films, it only became available in an English dubbed version in late 2007 and has never received an official English release.
SNAKES! most obvious influences are Antonioni's seminal BLOW UP, Andy Warhol's BLUE MOVIE, which I haven't seen, and Dusan Makavejev's SNAKE MOVIE, which it references both in its title and in the depiction of a woman smearing herself with snakes.
