  • Those heroes that shed their blood And lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side, Here in this country of ours.

You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries...

Wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom And are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land, they have

    Become our sons as well.

  • It truly is a pilgrimage that every Australian and New Zealander should try to do at least once in their lives. The experience is amazing; there just aren't words to describe the feeling you get from the Dawn Service at Anzac Cove.

  • look at all of thoes proud Australians, best country in the world. no other countries have days like this (maybe new zealand)this makes me very proud of what our diggers did for our country

  • Sorry my friend, but I have to disagree. Turkey have days like this and of course for me its the best country in the world :)

Anyway lets all be happy for Ataturk, that he was the greatest leader the world has ever known. For being such a honourable and respectful man.

  • no worries mate, disagree all u want thats ur right.

and i ment no other days like ANZAC day , ANZAC day shaped our nation, thats y Australians are so proud, especially on that day

  • but u didnt anything for australia in this war.u did it for england ! and result totaly 500.000 young people killed and you cant pass the Canakkale...It is a history lesson for you.Dont try to occupy another lands that you dont know who lives there .

  • Mate, why would you start an argument about this? It was almost 100 years ago, and neither side was right, we were all wrong. Torkey was not completely innocent of blame, it was a waste on both sides. ANZAC is not about victory, it's about rememberance.

  • Kia Ora to your comment bro!

    Kia Maumahara Toku Whetu Marama

Nga Tipuna awhi nga rangatira apopo

    - We shall remember those who have become one with the stars

    - Spirits of the past, guide the leaders of tomorrow

  • as a Turkish, I am totally agree with you..

  • You are mistaken. Australians did it for Australia which became a federated nation in its own right on 1.1.1901. I have seen the cliffs at Galibolu, the limestone travertines of Pamukkale and Cappadocia. History has proven these are all passable lands regardless of who lives there.

  • @kuruvaziyer

Thats incorrect. should stop talking, you dishonour your own country.

  • i was on the right hand side awesome sad experience .....prinesurfer1 u wont forget it

  • that is just amazing, 3 fingers shot off and survived,,, i could imagine it being emotional... i'm only 14 but do want to go to one of the Gallipoli Dawn Services before i die..

  • ÇANAKKALE GEÇİLMEZ!!

  • in that see of yellow beanies down the bottom!! I was one of them!

One of the most amazing and deeply sad moments of my life. Thank you for posting this!!
