Honesty and truthfully this device isn't all that great. On a scale of 1-5 I'd give it a 3 1/2. The picture quality that it gives out sucks, the way you have to set you're wallpapers suck, the battery life sucks, and call quality was pretty sucky too. I also hate when you're doing something important, and your finger accidentally hits the touch sensitive buttons at the bottom. I find myself doing that a lot. The keyboard is very cramped and you'll often find yourself making many errors.

The Droid 2 is NOT backwards compadible with older bluetooth systems. This includes the Parrot kits for cars! It says it is paired but will not connect with the car. Yet the Blackberry is just fine. Motorolla has a problem with this device and connections to older bluetooth systems. Stay away and do NOT buy this product!

Hey wait for the new Droid 2 that comes out on the 27th of this month. It is EXACTLY the same as the Droid but it is faster and the keyboard is WAY better. The keys are raised up and larger... trust me, go check out "Droid 2" video.  It ROCKS!

@yoitsjeremy it depends the droid is an all around better phone, its screen is pretty big, its got a keyboard, and is fairly small, the droid x is a phone for multimedia, for watching vids, youtube , taking pictures/video. so it depends what u want it for

my dad has this phone and got it free because he works at motorola. I don't like it as much compared to the iPhone. I would know this because my uncle has an iPhone. The touch on the Droid isn't the best and the pull out keyboard is hard to use. It is a wonderful phone besides that. If you're interested in the Droid wait for a bit longer because the Droid X is oming out this summer.

Pros- its super sexy and slim nice bright screen touchscreen u can custimize it ALso theres an app store so u can get many apps

cons- its sluggish but in january theres an update for the 2.0 android it can be a bit

confusing how u do stuff but u can get used 2 it

wut r u talking about.. verizon has data plans for smartphones. and AT7T doesnt really have unlimited internet.. its capped off at 5gb just like other carrier. except tmobile..their data cap is 10gb

They have plans that are "unlimited" the 1.99 is just plans without a defined internet bandwidth allowance. I think they cap at 5 gb for there "unlimited" I think this is about the same with all carriers.

Most definately this, its a 5 star phone, its better than the iPhone, Storm 2, and the Eris. It had the biggest marketing advertisement of all of Verizon because of how good it is, Verizon spent over 200 million on advertisements of this phone. the storm 2 only got about 5 million.

well it does have multi touch and the apps are better and actually have a purpose, unlike 88% of the iphones apps. and the screen is bigger with a higher resolution. texting is also better. also it has lots of games and since it is open for developers, they have tons of free apps and free games. such as emulators.

It really doesn't matter if a smartphone got better hardware then the iPhone, it's what's inside the phone that matters. If they still use old software, the phone is basically gonna be slow and laggy. Im not saying that android is bad now, but its in a early stage.
