With regards to Matthew 6, just because giving, praying, etc.. is done in public doesnt make it wrong. The verses speak to the motive for which the person is praying/giving. Giving/praying should not be done for attention (like the kids), but if there is an opportunity to give/pray in public, its ok to do it.... just be aware of your motive.

This is harmless fun. The students held up traffic for less than a minute. The suspension of the students is just an ordinary act of how administration likes to be in control of every little thing and if there is any individuality/disobedience they use their power for malice.

Don't be fooled by the kids. Its a fad. If anything, its a mockery, not an "act of righteousness".
With regards to Matthew 6, just because giving, praying, etc.. is done in public doesnt make it wrong. The verses speak to the motive for which the person is praying/giving. Giving/praying should not be done for attention (like the kids), but if there is an opportunity to give/pray in public, its ok to do it.... just be aware of your motive.

Half of these students don't even know what the hell they are doing. You can see one of the girls just joined in because everyone else was doing it. The interview on ESPN said they were doing it multiple times during the week. I can understand doing once as a show of respect but multiple times to push the admins to suspend you. You not only got in trouble you made fun of a mans belief and gave a bad rep to your school. I hope they are happy with there actions and they were warned prior.

This is harmless fun. The students held up traffic for less than a minute. The suspension of the students is just an ordinary act of how administration likes to be in control of every little thing and if there is any individuality/disobedience they use their power for malice.

To suspend them is a violation of an Act of Congress; does the principal have the authority to violate an Act of Congress? I don't think so. I smell a law suit coming.

If you misunderstood everything I said and just wanted to retaliate because you’re not a Christian or your mad at God that’s fine I understand that.
