  • Irish people cheering British troops, giving them tea- it was unpredcedented, and it could've represented the dawn of a new era. The IRA campaign and the Army's own actions- internemnt and bloody sunday- kept this from happening. But for a very brief time in 69 there was real hope of change.

    People's Democracy was far more revolutionary than the IRA
