  • @whisperingdeath308 Have you tried Tandy Leather?

  • My opinion<<< Bag is to low, when he would bend over it will swing down in front of him. Another thing watch the powder horn it turns over every time he opens the bag, to low on pouch. Tools needed are correct, All I seen was the shirt and it was cotton so it is not period correct for the time period it would of been linen. He says he has an extra priming horn why do you need a priming horn do you not have a horn full of powder in the big horn? It will prime the pan and fire off a flinter.

  • @atrain1880 Comfort and accessibility to the contents within the possibles bag and the powder horn are the primary concerns, which in turn determines where the bag and horn will set on the person. Cotton is period correct, it appears on many invoices during the fur trade period as both cloth and shirts. True, one could prime the pan with powder from the main horn, but some reenactors choose to use finer powder such as 4F for priming and coarser 2F or 3F for the main charge, thus, two horns!

  • Stuff like that... to the ninth power!

  • Thanks for the video, I enjoy your videos and think your outfit is very period accurate.
