One of the few songs that truly belongs in my "Music - Epic" playlist.

Makes me think about my hope - that someday, a game will come out that brings back the SOUL of gaming. A game that will end the glut of modern shooting games, full of shock and awe and testosterone and massive explosions, and show us - all of us - the things that only an interactive story can truly show.

Someday, a game will come that has true emotion, and was made by developers with a true love for their craft.

this was the shit back in the day. I remember getting the gamecube version because it was the only one that allowed four player split screen back then. (also blastin people on the PC version online before online shooters blew up.

The french resistance, Omaha Beach, Normandy Airborne Landings. now you just push a button and an airstrike is helping you out in COD MW2. in medal of honor.. you have to stick a sticky bomb on a tank  with your hands. the soldier does the word here and not the computer.

i think going modern is good as a game... but its not Medal of Honor anymore. its just gonna be a part of the COD Modern Warfare and Battlefield Bad Company family. its gonna be JUST another first person shooter.

The Medal of Honor games from the first to allied assault had character, drama, passion, feeling and a story to tell. now they just put americans against some terrorists. but medal of Honor is all about the things that really did happen.

@08376 Yeah, I'm not crazy about the new terrorist vs America thing. That's why I lost interest in Call of Duty in the first place. CoD will always be a World War II shooter to me, and nothing else.

Wow I remember this like it was yesterday but yesterday is going on 5 years ago on the good ol' PS2 circa 2004 i absolutly loved this series i'm mad at EA for letting it go to shit with airbourne but to be frank i knew it was gonna happen i still remember the one where u were a girl (forgot da name) i hope they reinvent the series soon and they should do wat COD did they should go modern thx 4 da upload my dude VG4EVR

It started for me with the PS1, but i agree with what you said. But its the same with the CC series, well what else can you expect from EA....

BTW i still play MOH on my PS1 so i have always been a fan but they let WW2 go on to long in my opinion even activision says they aint gonna do no more CODs based on WW2 but i heard a rumour about a MOH Vietnam cant wait 4 dat

Yeah you're right. I also got pretty tired of it. (imagine when the first part came out). The improvements were cool, but its like a never ending story xD

@ywe3 Agreed. We've been virtually fighting WW2 for longer than we actually fought it! The new MOH will be a modern war setting in Afghanistan, although the COD that's in the works is going to be set in Vietnam.

Frankly I don't think Vietnam is a good choice unless you are willing to throw historical accuracy out the window. Vietnam didn't have many open battles like in WWII, so I don't think the gameplay would be the same.
