It is a shame that Tynemouth Station has been in such a bad state of repair for such a long time. I'm glad that there are now plans to do some restoration work there.

Yeah, the Tyne & Wear Metro covers Newcastle and its surrounding towns, including Tynemouth, and it's quite a nifty way to get around. It's not as big as the underground trains they have in your neck of the woods, though.:)
when you go to St James metro station the tunnel continues, where does it go?
