personally i woulda kept the entire thing closed....then drill a little bit of a bigger hole at the bottom..a little bigger than whats allready there, then just put a little styrofome filter in there..much esier :|
They're used for general purpose air filtration and more specialized towards harmful fume filtration for soldering irons. they're called a fume extractor. And the best filter would be an activated carbon filter. And I made mine with hot glue instead of screws. Quicker and less work.
I would very much appreciate if you could show the results of this.
Maybe a photo after 24 hours and 30 days of usage, to see how much it has collected. Also, how to clean it, is it just to hold the bottom part under running water?
@alaasafei instead of using a sticky substance cant i just use water? screwing the fan to the black cap and fill the transparent cover with water?
is this a good idea?
plz reply asap
im used to living in the states and there is barely any dusts in a regular room but now im currently in the Philippines and dusts gets everywhere even after cleaning!!!!! not in the matter of hour(s) but minutes!!!! u can clearly c them landing on stuff pretty quickly,
Quite the wait to find out what the filtering mechanism is. A cyclonic filter would collect far more dust and need less maintenance.

That's not an air cleaner. Nice mount design. Poor execution actually cleaning the air.

thats cool but do u think u can make one with like a charged plate instead of a cd with glue to collect the dust. like the ionic filters do.

@SMACKURMOM Question: How does a small fan blowing air through a small hole and blowing dust onto grease create a lot of ozone?
