see....the problem here is you aren't using a big enough excavator.......NOT! Wow, that is a nice piece of gear....loads trucks WAY faster than the 980G loaders we use around here!

These trucks are running off road only. That is why they are loading them so heavy.

@JimBruce42 Jim the double bellys can run for about 2/3 the hourly rate of a 40 ton ADT. To top that off, they haul 25 tons each, ON road. Off road, more like 30 to 35 ton each, so 65-70 ton total load, at 2/3 the cost of an ADT. Then, on a long haul, the speed is much higher, and fill maintenance can be done with only a 16G blade.

I seen these on a freeway job a while ago with a 3 to 4 mile haul, all off road, and they were running 50 to 60 MPH ADT's are not even in the same ballpark

are these trucks going back out on the highway with all that dirt sloppn off the top. That wouldnt fly in Utah

Great vid and machine!! I remeber seeing a lot of double trailers (dog trailers?) when in SoCal. How come double trailers are used instead of a single big one? Manuverability?
