I agree. I miss Raphael's Swashbuckler appearance, it was such a cool homage to those old heroes like the Count of Monte Cristo and the Three Musketeers. Now he's just another Vampire cliché. >=(

The Count of Monte Cristo was after 16th century, raph was there in the 16th but he pretty much was to reflect those old heroes.

The whole vampire thing wouldn't have bothered me so much, it's just that he's being stuffed with every vampire reference imaginable to the point where he comes off as a charicature to anyone new to the game.

I do love Raphael, and nothing will change that. I just hate what Namco is doing to him.

Oh, and thanks for correcting me on Monte Cristo. It's been a while since I've read the book, so I'm ashamed about forgetting that little detail.

I was wondering if there was a Raphael composition out there :) This was great, the music and the video have great synchronicity (is that how you spell it, LOL) Well done, although I would have liked to see a teeny-weeny itty-bitty bit more variety in the choice of attacks. I'm really impressed. The video quality is relatively nice which, I have to say, is rare for VGMVs. The music fits nicely with the interspersed FMVs and Combat sequences....it's fast enough to accomodate the latter, but has slow moments to accomodate the former. The french song shows you have a good grasp on what your working with. Of course...it helps that Raphael Sorel is a favorite of mine!
