  • Getting the balance right in our videos is always tough. Would we always to be happy for our clients or potential new clients to see them? One thing is for sure - you are always come over as a 100% genuine guy - you always keep it real.

Keep on doing what YOU want to do my friend.

  • Great topics. If I was doing tons of mobile gigs like most you guys I would most definitely have a separate private channel. As for gear videos vs. the Business videos, I agree with you 100. The thing is I the gear videos generate the most interest. I wonder how many Youtubers actually search DJ business tips when they log on? Probably not as many as those that search for gear reviews

  • How about a vimeo channel for your clients and leave youtube for vlogs/dj stuff?

  • Nice video ..I tend to leave all my video open I try to let clients see what we do and how much work it is ...If I post a video or link it to my website I make it client freindly but if its just out on the web I dont care if they see all the behind the scenes..2 channels is a good ieda to have one to post client videos but it gets confusing for me I guess its what work for you :) Thanks DJ Mikey Mike

  • Private Post Sounds like a good idea. Your doing a great job and service to the DJ culture.. thanks for the videos compdr54@yahoo.com

  • i like the idea you can set the video up as public or as friends only definatly a way to separate business and gig logs

  • thats what i'm taking about we need gig log but we need the back end of the business, gear reviews are great the how to handle contract and shit like that is what i like to see i'm starting and thanks to you guys a learned a lot and big shot out to stefan from uptown xpress for taking me as aprentice

  • big shouts my bruddah. I absolutely agree! you gotta separate the "youtubedj network" stuff with the "public stuff all can access". I don't do gig logs much cuz it's lightweight cheesy to be talking to a cam when you are supposed to be entertaining. I really luv doing the tips and tricks type stuff, and even my practice sessions and setup stuff, but with the copyright b.s. on here, it just isn't worth it. i have several things in the tank.

good hearing from u. i will be on jfsr listening.

  • Good video and I totally agree about clients seeing some of these videos. I don't see why we don't have a website and everybody has there own page and what we could do somehow is have a login only, so you must of registered to the website and we could upload videos to youtube as *private* and then embed them on our page, if that makes sense! God video mate!
