@KnightTemplari You have any mud videos of the truck? Is it yours? Yeah we blow the engines all the time too, we try to look for a deeper pit each time but so far this is the best one around since the weather here is extremely dry. We got an 84 blazer with cut 40s and a 96 Z71 on 44s. I just broke the blazer last Sunday! We dont stop till something is broke or else its no fun! Thats what its all about ;)
@LF4x4chik sorry to hear that... If you're planning mud drags, forget the 44's. They're too big and too fat. The tire of choice for trucks is the 38.5X11 Bogger, the NMRO class 3 record holder runs on this..But it looks like you guys drive your trucks to work/school, bummer. But, the fastest guys in that class are all running 512-632" engines and doing real well on those tires. Hopefully you guys are using automatics and not stick.Mine in a problem have to get TTB Ford axles or go dana.
@KnightTemplari, we just bought the cut 40s this week but just for mudding, we wont be doing mud drags for a while. They are both automatics. We won 2nd place the very first time we raced the blazer. Other one has always been used just for mudding. Trucks cant be driven on the street, we were told they are not street legal. I have no idea so I'll have to look into it. I so wish we could drive the z71 at least to the beach. We have been praying for LOTS of rain so that we can go mudding soon :D
