Even if you don't like Yoko... Really what kind of remark is this? Yoko was John wife, she's the mother of Sean. But above all she's Yoko. She's human too, you know. I have great respect for her. She has always done what she thought was right. I find that really something. John learn a lot from her i think. Maybe some other people can too!

I always think this song would have fitted snugly on McCartney. Wildlife feels like Macca's anti-rockstar album and is none the worse for that - it has a certain charm absent from the work of some of his contemporaries at the time.

for all those people who say Linda wasnt a good musician or singer- she was the right woman for Paul, the most faithful caring woman he's had so far and she sings alot better than certain other people in the world who rely on technology to fake it. She had guts to get out there and play just because Paul asked her to, facing nasty fans and critics alike yet raising a good down to earth family and remaining in Paul's heart even today.

Hail Paul McCartney, reigning King of Rock 'n Roll. The succession went from Bill Haley to Elvis Presley to John Lennon to Paul McCartney. Who will be King after Paul? I shudder to think. He will probably outlive Jagger and Ringo. Will it be a crying, drooling Pete Townshend or Keith Richards? Probably. All the Ramones are dead. Jimmy Page? Everyone of stature will be ancient. Ram is an amazing album for me. Really great music. And for the most part the critics agree with me on that one.

@clockworkfiction3 You are not correct, RAM was panned when it came out. John mocked it pointedly (also see the Imagine LP he mocked it there, too). Come on, loving Paul is one thing, but his solo music stinks.

On intial release it was panned, but now it's gotten favorable reviews from critics. And John mocked him because he was mad that Paul had lyrics that mocked Lennon on the album. Lennon was angry.

And if were going by what Lennon likes, Lennon said he though Band on the Run was a "great" album.

Obviously it's all a matter of opinion. I personally like a lot of Paul's solo work, and then there's some I like to ignore due to cheesiness.

@clockworkfiction3 Ringo recorded Back Off Bogaloo about Paul & his childish music. George made comments in pulic -he was asked. I'm in my 50s. I grew up with the Beatles. It was a sad shock when Paul came out with his horrible albums-it still is.

I love the version on Wingspan where its a duet between Paul and Linda- it sounds better and it fits the meaning better- love between a musical couple
