@gallan947 Like they say (maybe too often), "Every boat is a compromise of four basic factors: seaworthiness, comfort, performance, and cost." But I like this little boat. "Dim Sum" is the 2nd WWP 15 I've owned. I sold the first one, missed it, and bought this one 7 years ago. I've only seen your Type D in photos; it's fun seeing "how it all started".
BTW- If you get a chance I'd like to see a video or 2 of your boat and Portsmouth. Just a thought!
Yes, the WWP 15s are easy to sail. The rig is simple so it doesn't take long to step the mast and get the boat in the water. Good luck with the sailing. I hope I'll see some great videos of you and your grandpa on the boat one of these days!
Nice boats, I have a 1976 Type D, sail # 64, I sail off Portsmouth in the UK - it gets lots of attention, people always admiring it.

my grandpa just bought a WWP 15 today wich he's goin to teach me how to sail,(and eventually probly end up giveing to me) lol
