Dr's/hospitals/clinics factor in the cost of treating them to what they charge Ins. plans of those who have them, thus driving up costs to INSURED CITIZENS...it's the responsible people who end up bearing the costs of the entitled class that would rather be "grasshoppers" than "ants" (look that fable up. If you are truely the wife of a Marine, then you are the benificiary of a govt funded, single payer health care system, do you choose to buy private insurance instead? if you do, that is all good, however, I would like that same choice, the same choice to not pay the 20-40% overhead of the private insurance industry, and to criticize any one side in this debate as 'shouting over' the other side seems somewhat intellectually dishonest, considering no-one here seems to be armed

natesworld23...my husband joined the Marines right out of HS in'69...he and I went to different HS's and I didn't know him until he got out and we met in college. So NO, I am not the BENEFICIARY of any gov't funded HC system. As a civilian, my husband is a flight nurse (trauma/critical care) and has an excellent health plan HE WORKS FOR! He is now a Captain in the Navy Reserve nurse corps still serving HONORABLY! TriCare Not Needed! I made my "name" to honor: ONCE A MARINE/ALWAYS A MARINE!
