That's a great point... in terms of worth, any dog could be priceless. "Worth" is simply what we value our dogs at. My dogs are worth far more than they ever cost.

Beautiful dog. We have a male Neo,Gunner.Got him from the pound,not sure how old though. He was under weight,having stomach issues,but he is on the mend now. We love his personality,loveable attitude,and protective side. enjoy.

Zelda weighed 24 pounds at 8 weeks, 40 pounds at 12 weeks, 50 pounds at 14 weeks, and 63 pounds at 16 weeks, 75 pounds at 20 weeks, and I would guesstimate she weighs in the 130's now at 14 months. Enjoy Titus-they grow SO fast. :)

Sounds like you need some better training. No dog should EVER be allowed to bite at kids. This should be severely disciplined. They will only get bigger, stronger, and more stubborn so you better get control now. Good luck.

Yes, these dogs are naturally friendly with anyone they're raised with. They are naturally wary of strangers so proper socialization is a must. Even with out socialization Neos will love and be gentle with young children.

I can't say. I know 2 Female Neos need to be separated. Our male bulldog and Zelda are usually separated too. The Neo is a very interesting breed. Most Neo owners have other dogs, though. Lots of factors to consider...
An average Neo costs $3,000 USD. Shipping (if you would need it) is about another $500. Do A LOT of research to see if it's the breed for you. Huge/smart dogs are a challenge! They are amazing dogs.
It's good that the price is high on this breed. If the prices drop, the puppy mills will have them, and then, the gangs and dogfighters will have them. And then the breed will be deemed dangerous and banned. I knew some people who had lived with only golden and Labrador retrievers. They got male Neo, and he became dominant and excessively protective. He was find with both their intact male golden retriever and spayed Lab, but he hated visitors and strange dogs.
how hyper are they? i've considered getting one but i don't want it to be insanely hyper. i raised a boxer from when she was 6 weeks and she's 1 1/2 now and still just as hyper. haha
Zelda gets hyper, but it doesn't last too long. They are mostly loungers. The hard part is when they want to play like a 6 month old puppy, and they weigh over 100 pounds!

It's a normal customary thing do do with the Neos, although usually the tail is clipped as well if anything is done.
