Nice idea to combined different music - unfortunatelly it aint great music. No passion, no great idea - and worst not even played correctly. But keep on working, im sure teh average Popmusiclistener will like it.
I don't understand how we translate worship of God (the orginial rendition as well as the new expression) as a platform to judge. That is not the Spirit of the Messiah. God bless those who enjoy both the original and the more modern copy. I can appreciate both because I listen to them not for the beauty of the music but more for the beauty of the subject of the music--my Savior and Redeemer!
Thank you for your comment. We can't please everybody, but those who have vision and an open mind have already given us positive, constructive and encouraging feedback on this piece. We are proud of it and it still remains a fantastic piece of worship music. God Bless you and may He open your heart to new expressions of genius.
Mark Bunney (playing sax there) used to teach me sax- he's brilliant.

What a waste. The composer took an awesome classical piece and turned it into elevator music. Thanks a lot.

One more thing. i understand the musical idiom of the original piece. For me, it is unnecessary to translate it. For me.
